Its a really nice place to stay, the location is perfect and the staff is outstanding!

Nice lodging, with a rustic architecture type cottage for children's tale, the staff super friendly, help you in everything and make you feel at home, the very rich buffet breakfast (freshly made natural juices, scrambled eggs, bread, butter jam, salad Fruits, yogurt, etc), the facilities are good, the beds comfy, hot water, the only thing has no TV, but if you go to Cusco to watch TV better nor billboards. On the other hand what if I difficult is that it is in a pedestrian street and the Taxos leave you away, besides that as it is in San Blas you must climb some stairs that leave you dead. The distance to the Plaza de Armas of 8 minutes.

Staying at Madre Tierra is like staying at your favorite aunt and uncles house. A hostal is more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel for those of you not familiar with the term. If you are looking for every modern amenity, a hostal is not the right choice for you. The rooms are comfortable with exceptional mattresses and good heating, which is important in Cusco. The Wi-Fi was always working and we did not hear a single complaint from our teenagers. I got sick with the flu, from the USA, and spent the first two days in bed with a fever. The owners arranged for a house call from a Doctor who gave me a shot and medication to bring down the high fever. Staff also helped by bringing me food and lots of fluids while my family was away on a tour. We had a healthy breakfast each morning with fresh juice, coffee, bread, ham and cheese. The owner also connected us with a very nice travel agent who set us up with interesting and fun tours. We really did have a memorable experience in Cusco and Mardre Tierra. If you are interested in food, we had the best meal of the trip at Pachapapa which close by adjacent to Plaza San Blas. Make sure you arrive with plenty of cash for outings. Most tours don’t take credit cards and the ATM withdrawal limit is low with high fees.

Nice environment, very good service, the access a little difficult, but close to everything in San Blas, I highly recommend it.

Absolutely the best. I'll never forget you guys for taking care of me when I thought I had typhoid, even though it was only food poisoning. The staff is unforgettable and the cereal downstairs is the bomb.
