Mirita is just a wonderful human being! She made me feel like home. It is a traditional house from Cajamarca kind of far from the city centre but the neighborhood was safe to walk at all hours.
We contacted Vicky via email if she had availability after a recommendation by other travelers. We were very happy she had room for us. It felt immediately as a home, very welcoming and friendly, nice atmosphere and places to relax. Vicky and Mirita are super friendly and we had good conversations (in Spanish so we good practice ;) We loved the breakfast together with them with local cheese, olives and local coffee out of a percolator and once we joined lunch which was also super tasty. Jesse even roasted the coffee together with Vicky. They also have a garden with a lot of herbs, peppers and even a tomato de arbol tree. Vicky also had great recommendations on what to do around Cajamarca and she took us to the farmers market and the ceramic workshop. We loved our stay here and would recommend this place to everyone looking for a warm and local experience.

It’s a beautiful experience staying with two lovely sisters who open their Peruvian home to you. The house is. 30 min walk from the center but it’s easy to catch a taxi or take the walk the see more of the city. The hosts are lovely and make sure you feel like home, they also have good advice for tours and are happy to help. The breakfast was amazing and healthy and I really enjoyed my time here, it’s a very special place!
