Very nice, comfortable place run by a very lovely family. The rooms were very well equipped and comfortable, even with hot water and a portable heater and tea whenever we wanted one. The woman was very nice and helpful regarding trips, viewpoints and restaurants or other questions. Also the breakfast was prepared with love and enough to start into a hiking trip. We could have stayed longer than two nights, would always recommend!
This hotel is okay if you want a cheaper option. We actually felt that given we were the only guests when we stayed in December that £25 was a bit too much considering the hotel is quite basic.
The decor is very old, paint peeling on the front, old dirty carpets etc. The room had been surface cleaned. The bed sheets were all very clean but there was dust covering the whole bathroom door.
The good thing to say is that the bed is fantastic, very big and comfortable with good quality duvet and linens. The staff were also very friendly and breakfast was freshly prepared.
