Very comfortable stay in a new hotel before and after hiking in Huaraz. The rooms were spotless and super cozy.

This hotel is situated inside a private alley, which makes it hard to find initially. But once you find it, you'll love the private entrance. The ensuite rooms are spacious with a hot shower.

Absolutely amazing stay here! The location was beautiful, so peaceful! Our room was perfect, had everything we needed and we loved the style!

Best hostel in the town and I have tried quite a few already. Close to center but far away enough not to hear the city noise. The owner is a climber and an amazing host.

Ricky brings the character to the hotel. His cooking and hospitality made all the guests very comfatable.

"A little paradise in the city" as Ricky calls it. And I agree! I had an incredible stay there. The rooms are great, the garden is peaceful and cosy, but the best is Ricky's friendliness.

Well equipped kitchen, laundry machine, no need to stress where to leave your belongings when off for a hike.

It’s run by a very friendly family that are always happy to help out with any questions regarding all the different hikes. You can book all kind of tours with them for a fair price.

We (backpacker couple) spent one week in Montañero ll. The staff is friendly and always ready to help you and solve any question. The room was spacious and comfortable.

We loved our stay. It is a beautiful hotel on a quiet street 10-12 minute walk to downtown. Beautifully decorated inside and large common patio off 3rd floor patio with views.

Excellent hotel! Fabian & Anna, the owner/managers were amazing! The hotel was clean, excellent service, friendly staff… Marie was an excellent server in the restaurant!

Overall, we had a good stay at Sunrise Guest House in Huaraz.
The accommodation is run by Maria, together with her daughters Sharon and Ashley.

Expectations were absolutely met.
Nice staff, clean and OK private rooms at a reasonable price (60 soles).
A bit far away from the center (less than 10 minutes, but still).

What an amazing slice of heaven! The inn is nestled between the Cordillera Blanca and Negra Mountain ranges.
