Las Clementinas

The staff was awesome, brought all our luggage to our room. Rooms were very big and comfortable. The bar and restaurant not only had excellent food the drinks and Happy Hour is the best. You can’t beat the location. Felt very safe, very close to Central Park where lots of entertainment, many restaurants and roof top bars all in walking distance.

I really enjoyed my stay at Las Clementinas. My room was nice and airy, with plenty of natural light and those beautiful details that make a space feel special. Breakfast downstairs every morning was such a treat too. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and it was the perfect way to start the day before exploring Casco Viejo. It’s such a charming spot and I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is so darling and really gives you a feel for the historic culture of Panama in the building. It's location super easy walking distance to everything in Casco Viejo. Our room was clean and spacious with a small kitchen and beautiful bathroom (loved the tile in the shower it was stunning). The whole place felt like home quickly. The restaurant on the bottom floor Mahalo, was amazing I would recommend in a heartbeat. The staff were all so helpful and kind too I would love to come back soon!

If you like a boutique style hotel you will LOVE Las Clementinas. Our room was great. Ask for Studio 9 if you want to minimize steps. Having breakfast in the garden surrounded by beautiful flora was super relaxing. The rooftop view makes you want to wake up super early every morning and stay up late to catch the sunrise and sunset. The entire staff were so friendly and helpful. I will be back. 😊

Such a beautiful restaurant! I absolutely loved it! The food and drinks were amazing and I was very happy that they had fans on the outside patio area!

This hotel is so sweet and you can really feel the historic culture of Panama in this building. It's location is easy walking distance to everything in Casco Viejo. The rooms are clean and very spacious with little kitchens and beautiful bathrooms. It's on top of a fabulous restaurant called Mahalo, highly recommend eating here for any or all of your meals!
The service is also excellent, great helpful staff. The guys helped us with some valet parking (recommend you do this in Casco) and they helped us carry our luggage to our rooms etc.
Will definitely stay again!

You need to stay here if you're visiting Panama and staying in Casco Viejo. This historic building is gorgeous and the service is excellent; Neris and the rest of the staff were fantastic during my stay.

We had a terrific time here. The staff, the apartment and on site restaurant were all outstanding. Highly recommend.

Wow what a disappointment. First impression was great, the rooms are beautiful, the garden was too, staff were pleasant. But after settling in we noticed so many issues that forced us to check out early and move to another hotel, which we’ve NEVER done.
The biggest issue was the lack of cleanliness. We were extremely uncomfortable. The floors had debris throughout the unit, the toilet had yellow stains, the shower had dirt stains on the floor, there was a strange smell coming from the washroom, hand prints on the balcony window, and the WORST were the dirty beds. It felt like they didn’t change the sheets after the previous guest. The pillows had brown discolouration, and a few pillows felt grimy like someone with oily hair had slept on it. When I lifted the blanket I saw skin flakes like dandruff or scabs, hair, stains, there was black stains on the pillow and blanket possibly mascara, and other indications that this was a used bed. We all spent the first night sleeping on top of the blankets. They don’t have housekeeping clean throughout your stay so it’s not like they can just come clean the room too. This is what ultimately made us so uncomfortable we had to leave. We couldn’t even sleep properly and we had to rest before our long flight home.
In addition, we didn’t love the location, it was on the edge of a sketchy area. When you walk out of the hotel and turn left you head towards the tourist area, but if you turn right it gets a bit sketchy.

I host our tour groups here and everyone always really enjoys the stay. It is also my personal favorite place to stay when I am visiting Panama City.
Less frills as some of the other hotel sin PTY, but still very charming, with all of the necessities. Very comfortable and clean beds, a mini fridge and coffee machine, and kind staff. The in-house restaurant is also delicious! And convenient location walking distance to everything in Casco Viejo.

Felt very overpriced for what the room was. The balcony was filthy especially the seat covers.
Nobody at reception when we arrived in the afternoon, even when we arrived at our agreed arrival time. (We had to enter through the attached restaurant)
The door handle broke off of our door and the staff just told us to put it back on ourselves and figure it out.
The coffee pot in the room still had grounds in it from the previous guests.
There was a very loud wedding all night in the garden when we were there (which I understand, but be prepared for the noise in the wee hours of the morning).
The bed was clean and comfortable, but for a supposed Michelin starred hotel, it was a big disappointment.

This hotel is in a prime location and has an incredible rooftop. I’d say the view from here beats any rooftop restaurant in Casco Viejo.

Las Clementinas is my go-to place whenever I’m in Panama City. The space is great, super clean, and really comfortable. The location is perfect, especially if you need to get to Albrook Airport quickly, which I use often. The beds? Incredibly soft and spotless—so good that sometimes I end up working from bed all day. On top of that, the service is always on point. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to!

Absolutely love this stunning hotel! 😍 Have stayed here many times. It's our go-to whenever we want to explore Panama City and experience the culture and amazing restaurants just steps away. The rooms are super spacious and it has the charm you want from Casco Viejo.
Just stayed this weekend and it was perfect. Such good, welcoming vibes from the staff and an amazing restaurants on the lower level. Highly recommend ⭐️

Actually might be one of my favorite stays in the world.
You simply won’t find a more well designed room, a more comfy bed or a cooler shower (I know most people don’t rate rooms based on the shower but I love a good shower and I think it shows an eye to detail! ).
I don’t know how it could tick any more boxes. It’s in the middle of the coolest part of Panama City. Has an amazing cafe/restaurant downstairs (with delicious Espresso Martinis no less! ). Big windows with great views out over the city and to the ocean. Valet parking. Safe, secure and spotless clean.
The rooms (I don’t know if they call them rooms, they should be called apartments they’re so big! ) have that old Spanish and French Caribbean style — wood everywhere, big windows with lots of natural light, timeless.
Every time I stay here I just get that feeling like life is just great.
Absolutely recommend. 10 out of 10 and bonus points if Neris is on shift to check you in. Her smile and warmth will make you feel like you’re being welcomed by an old and dear friend.

My husband & I stayed here 3 nights in early February. We thought it a very comfortable room in a beautiful old restored building. Beds were comfy, decor very nice, a/c was excellent, water pressure a bit, but it’s an old building. This is not the Ritz, but it has much charm & the old part of the city is a fascinating place to stay. Yes, there is a building next door that is being renovated, but they are all over Casco Veija. It’s a wonderful sign of renewal. There were 2 nights that there were wedding receptions in the lush courtyard below the large deck that we shared with a neighboring room. Not too late, no issues with noise. Great view of the city from the rooftop. The front desk was very helpful. Mahalo, the restaurant had a fantastic breakfast. Amazing coffee & food. Be sure to have dinner at Kaandela, a short walk away. And try a Coca Cola milkshake at the Cafe Coca Cola.

BEDBUGS! BEWARE!
I stayed here one night and emerged covered in bites. DO NOT STAY HERE.
No elevator and you risk hitting yourself badly having to carry luggage up/down multiple flights.
Only one key per room which left me standing outside at 130am in what felt like a very unsafe situation as the hotel abuts a very noisy and active tenement looking building.
Much better options in Panama City.
