Each room has new air conditioners (and it's needed), flat screen televisions, and private bathrooms (it's not exactly a hostel). It's more expensive than a hostel, but you also get to use their huge fully equipped kitchen that's very clean, plus they have a reasonably priced laundry service with an hour's turnaround. The downsides are there is a problem with the water pressure so you have to tell them before and after you shower (maybe they've fixed this problem? ) And also if you're room is far from the common area then you won't get internet. They were very helpful for advice on what to see in Panama, and they have two taking parrots which I enjoyed. Overall, great place to relax and beat the heat.
