Hotel Tulip INN

Worst experience ever.
We stayed here on the night of February 8, 2025. Upon arrival for check-in, we were shocked to find that the price was different from what was listed on the website. Instead of the advertised 3, 480 PKR, they demanded 4, 000 PKR.
When we questioned the price increase, they moved us to another section at the far end of the hotel (Room No. 221). The cleanliness was poor, there was a strong unpleasant smell everywhere, and several switches were not working.
Overall, it was a terrible experience. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Disappointed and horrible experience.
I booked a room through Google and called the hotel to confirm my booking. They assured me that the room was available and told me to come over. However, upon arriving at the hotel after a long and tiring journey, the staff asked me to wait. Eventually, when I inquired again due to exhaustion, they rudely informed me that no rooms were available.
This was both shocking and frustrating, especially after I had already confirmed my booking. The staff’s behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable, particularly the manager, Usman. Instead of resolving the issue, he rudely asked for a “booking slip” or other proof, even though I had confirmed everything over the phone. When I pointed out their lack of communication, including not sending room pictures as requested, the manager became aggressive. He even involved a security guard and threatened me.
When I said I would inform other guests and post a review about their behavior, the manager shockingly responded, “Tumhara baap bhi humara kuch nahi ukhaar sakta” (even your father can’t do anything to us). This level of disrespect was appalling. They eventually forced me out of the hotel at night, leaving me stranded.
I immediately called the police, and to my relief, the Punjab Police responded within five minutes. They handled the situation professionally and ensured my safety. I am truly grateful to the Punjab Police for their swift and effective response.

Absolutely Pathetic and Dishonest behavior by the hotel owner. Charged 700 for the welcome drinks and water bottle and only told us about the charges when we were checking out. They didn't tell us anything about the charges while checking in and later the owner said that you shouldn't have consumed it. Even though they had the menu for everything. Obviously if the customer needs anything they'll order from the menu by themselves. Why are you putting drinks already in the room if you have the menu? And if you are putting it then you shouldn't charge. That too 700Rs for god's sake. Overall room condition was also below average.

Extremely bad experience last week I stayed in this hotel for a night.
I found a lot of problems during my stay.
Poorly cleaned toilets, leaking water taps, no hot water available in this cold weather.
Traces of women's hairs on pillows and blanket,
Dirty blanket.
And most irritating during rest time.
Maintainace activities was on going caused a lot of noise.
I will never ever recommend anyone to stay in that hotel.
In same price a lot of other options available in same area.
