Diamond Lodge

Dear customer.
I recently stayed for a week at the Diamond Lodge, which operates under the Ibis name. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
My room had small bugs, possibly spider mites or aphids, and I even spotted ivy-dwelling beetles like the Ivy Boring Beetle. I complained multiple times, but the lodge owner was incredibly rude and aggressive, instead of addressing the issue. When I showed him my swollen face and arms from the bites, he simply moved me to another room, but the problem persisted.
I also pointed out the garbage outside the lodge and showed him a video of the insects I recorded on my iPhone 5. Despite this evidence, he refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing. He insisted that I either stay for the full week or pay for the entire stay to leave early, so I ended up paying for seven days just to get out.
The lodge lacks a kitchen or any access to hot water for coffee or tea. While there are grocery shops nearby and waitstaff can fetch items for you, they expect generous tips, or you won’t receive any service.
Air conditioning is only available between 5 PM and 10 PM, which is frustrating. Additionally, there was no daily cleaning or linen change; they only provided it once during my stay.
The lodge also has a questionable reputation, allowing guests to bring in sex workers for an extra fee. The owner is heavily armed and employs two guards for security, maintaining a close relationship with the police.

At First, I thought of ignoring the issue, but their worst after sales service had forced me to disclose me to post here.
Dear prospective seekers, they drag their only one service staff for all their rooms…they try their best to say lies, for the various reason of their delay…after leaving the hotel I left my item, ask them to leave at reception, they gladly said yes you can send the driver he can collect it…
Now after sending the driver they misplaced and not even willing to pick up the phone…driver went second time he came back empty handed…. Least to bother over phones any one call.
Pathetic service overall.
Rooms and bathrooms are kept filthy, old building structure no check and balance for the cleanliness.
5 star Ratings are fake…jerry (receptionist) is not less than any blunder/liar.

Elton Jerry, the receptionist, was exceptionally welcoming. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Ambience was good.

A great option for both business and leisure travelers. The rooms were clean and well-lit, and the staff was always polite and helpful. A special shoutout to Irfan Ghani for being an amazing manager—his professionalism and dedication made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is ideal, and the pricing is very reasonable. My only suggestion would be to add more variety to the breakfast menu, but overall, a fantastic experience!

An excellent guest house in the heart of DHA! The environment is peaceful, and the property is well-maintained. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring you feel welcome throughout your stay. Perfect for families or solo travelers. Highly recommended for a luxurious yet affordable experience! Stayed here for a business trip and was pleasantly surprised. The staff is professional and always ready to help. The guest house offers excellent value for money, with clean rooms and good facilities. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. I would definitely come back! This guest house is a hidden gem! The ambiance is homely yet professional, and the service is top-notch. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the housekeeping staff did a fantastic job. The only minor downside was a slight delay in check-in, but the staff made up for it with their warm hospitality. I Would definitely stay here again!

I had the best experience in karachi at this Lodge. Everything was available on just one call. The Boy jerry is an amazing guy. Took care of everything without even me asking him. Definitely recommend for everyone.
