Perfect place to stay for the Rakaposhi hike, especially if you're planning to do it in one day. Very clean bathroom. They also offer a speedy laundry service (dropped it off in the evening and already back before 6am).

The name, Manokur-e-Basa, which in Burushaski language means an abode of the noble people, is truly representative of its owner and his entire team. I was really impressed by the warm welcome the guests receive, the hospitality and generosity of the owner, and above all the humility which one rarely finds in people living in urban centres. Mr Fida Hussain, despite being the owner of the place, is so humble that he himself serves the guests along with his staff members. I have seen him help his staff in cooking as well. Not only does he serve the guests but also provides them a great deal of information about the village. Whether you plan to hike towards Hapakun or Rakaposhi base camp, Manokur-e-Basa is the right place to begin the adventure. If you are not interested in hiking and just want to spend some quality time in a serene place close to nature, this is the place where you can relax.

If you are planning to hike to RP BC in one day, then this is your place. Located right at the beginning of the trail, it is the best place to sleep. Caring host, home cooked food and a beautiful outside seating area.
The owner even arranged that we were picked up by the public van in the morning, after we had told him that we wanted to go to Gilgit the next day. We also saw him helping with another guests with transport.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at Manokor e Basa Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the host, Fida, made me feel incredibly welcome with his warm hospitality and attention to detail. He truly went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
The food at the hotel was also a highlight. Every meal was a treat, featuring delicious, well-prepared dishes that showcased local flavors beautifully. It's clear that they put a lot of love and care into their food, and it definitely paid off.
