Borith Lake Hotel & Resort

Very quiet and cozy place just beside the lake. The rooms are clean and affordable. The food is great. They even organized a musical night for us. You have to drive about 10 mins from the hussani bridge coffee shop to this resort. The road to this hotel is newly constructed. Overall a beautiful and cozy place to stay a night or two.

We stayed here for few days in June and would like to return. Everything was perfect. As much as we enjoyed the food, we enjoyed the outdoor fire and BBQ as well. The staff were so proactive and kind. Not a single thing left unanswered. The most memorable event was star gazing at the nearby hill. You walk about 5 mins up the hill and find a lowered flat surface. It blocks out all the artificial lights and it is only you and the sky. What an amazing experience. The surrounding area is great for hike. I look forward to my next strip.

The owner Farid is a gem of a person. Its a family run hotel. The staff make every effort to make your stay enjoyable.
One night we arrived back quite late and the chef had left for the day. The owner made us delicious chinese himself which was an amazing thing to do.
We will be back insha Allah.

One of the most beatiful settings, hotel and staff I have ever experienced. I had a room with a view over the tranquil lake and the snowy mountains. Far away from the bustle of the big cities. Very friendly staff in the hotel originally from this romantic and solitary place. Food was also very delicious. No problem with the electricity, Wi-Fi on and off but who cares when surrounded by such unspoiled nature. Ideally situated for the walks, trekkings, milky way if weather permits. Highly recommended.

I spent a few nights at the Borith Lake Hotel and Resort and had a great time. The rooms were clean and spacious. The view from my room was amazing! They have a restaurant that had great food and the location is close to some of the most epic nature I’ve ever seen. What really made it so special was the amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The energy was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Just enjoyed my second visit to this wonderful, well-run inn, located just a short drive up a hill off the Karakoram Highway. Comfortable, warm beds, hot showers, great food (something as simple as Chicken Fingers with Chips never tasted so good) plus a nice outlook over shimmering Lake Borith. But the best thing is the friendly, professional staff who make you feel most welcome. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Wow what a sanctuary, a haven of good food, company and heavenly views and adventures. Zahid Bhai and his crew were truly awesome — friendly knowledgable and so hospitable. They knew the wildlife the routes took us on a glacier trek and looked after us the whole way. Would definitely wholeheartedly return one day and recommend to anyone for a trip of a lifetime. Northern sights and hospitality at its best. Bonfire, tasty food, clean large rooms, amazing terrace with front row seat of the Milky Way and the wondrous lake and in the lap of mountains. Truly amazing.

Pros — The management is really accomodating and helps you out to every extent possible. We had a lovely stay at the resort, availability of hot water and fresh food made it even more comfortable. Also, I would recommend to go visit the passu glacier viewpoint as it is a 10 minute drive from here, Cons — Way up to the hotel is not a paved route, check with the resort admin beforehand whether your car will be able to make it or not.

Its a very traditional type resort on the lake side.
