Gilgit Gateway Hotel is the way to go! I was on my way to Hunza but decided to stay in Gilgit since I didn’t want to drive two more hours in the dark.

Probably the nicest guest house in Gilgit. It's in a good location, quiet, huge balcony with views, a very relaxing place and clean. Breakfasts and dinners are very satisfying.

We enjoyed so much our stay at the Oak Residency. Mr. Tahir is very kind and accommodating, and the staff are all attentive and respectful. The rooms are clean with lovely decor.
