I was a guest at the Rotana… wonderful place with an immense beach and a wonderful sea with the possibility of taking long walks. Hospitality… cleaning … hospitality very good, the kitchen is fantastic with raw materials of excellent quality, the Italian chef Raffaele competent person and attentive to detail. Animations funny. Present but not intrusive. I definitely will be back, I highly recommend spending your vacation at the Rotana Resort.

I'm very proud that the Salalah Rotana hotel is in the Sultanate of Oman, it's an amazing resort that is part of the the Hawana resort which includes at present four hotels. The resort is well built and of high quality design, architecture and materials. The staff are very friendly, and the resort is family friendly as well, it contains many restaurants with international nice cuisine, it also has a water canal and a hydro park. There is a nice kids club which is run by a friendly staff. I also liked the nice big swimming pool, the resort is also environmental friendly and there are teloba fishes in the water canal to help in controlling the larvae of the mosquitoes. We have very much enjoyed our stay in Salalah Rotana hotel, and I look forward for visiting it again.

We had a lovely stay here. The hotel is in a great location and rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The staff were absolutely amazing and tried so hard to make everything perfect. We were particularly impressed with Ibrahim on Reception as he faced particularly rude and unreasonable guests and yet remained calm, professional and cheerful. He really deserves a medal. We also loved the buffet breakfast.

Attended a charity ball in the function room. The layout was magnificent and the attention to detail was spot on. Cocktails served by the amazing staff were going down too easy. The food presented was an array of delights with roast meats, curries, pasta and a line of desserts to keep going back for more.

Sushi night was well coordinated. Sushi and dining was fresh. Prices were high but sushi is hard to come by.

Oman an experience that I will bring into the heart.

This was my second time staying at the Rotana Salalah. The first time we stayed for one week and decided that this time we should stay for two weeks as one week was just not enough! :) Our visit was absolutely phenomenal. The food was great and most specifically, the staff were the best I have ever encountered. Kiti the bar man in specific provided excellent service to my family and I. Also Hajar the hostess in Saffron was always smiling, friendly and helpful. Even our room attendants were ever so pleasant. The beach is magnificent. It was not very crowded and it was very clean. Our room was also in good condition. Whenever we had an issue, the staff members acted very promptly and again were extremely pleasant and helpful. I cannot wait to return for a third visit. Thank you for the perfect trip! :)

I had great stay at Rotana Resort in Salalah. Location is perfect with beautiful long beach extending for kilometers and no crowd. Perfect place to relax on the beach. Pool is also amazing but the long and wide beach is an extra value. We could see dolphins from the beach every day during our stay. Staff is extremely professional and kind, ready to accomodate your requests. They managed to move me to a better room at no extra charges. Resort has three restaurants and additional restaurants from the neighboring resorts can be reached easily by walk. Rotana Salalah is highly recommended.

This place is overpriced for the services that are provided. Stuff is untrained and slow, room service takes ages and you pay $10 for soft drink and there is no straw. They have one baby chair per restaurant! Typical Rotana lacking final details.

It is a very nice/well kept resort where you can go for a long walk. The room was very nice and had a balcony facing the sea. If you were lucky you could even watch dolphins:-) we will definitely come back!

Absolutely beautiful. There's no doubt in my mind that the Rotana Resort is definitely one of the most beautiful hotels in Oman. There's something so tranquil and idyllic about its location which makes you feel relaxed and at peace. The staff here make you feel like royalty at times which definitely is great!. It definitely is a great place for a weekend getaway.

Best hotel ever I have lived in. View was Amazing. Service was delicate and efficient. The rooms were neat and clean. What I liked there were, beach and it’s swimming pool, both were with breathe taking views. Still I can feel and hear Soothing sounds of waves crashing on the beach. Stayed there for few days back in 2014 but feels like it was a yesterday. Cant wait to go there again.

The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. Long Beach with bright fine sand, also here always clean.
Food for vegetarians not so good on demand I could order a special, for example, Indian food at any time.

We recommend renting a car, as there is nothing interesting about it, overall rather boring, because there is no animation.

A great facility very clean very good food offer unfortunately, many guests can not behave as one should at a 5 star hotel specially in the restaurant. But definitely recommended and an experience the staff is very friendly no matter whether in the restaurant or at various bars but also in the various houses.

Nice place for having a good beach and calm with you family or you love the climate is between 32 day time and 20 night time also is the most safe place in the world.

Very nice facility, structural and also from the location to the Indian Ocean. The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good. High quality food, currently in February little kids, German-Italian-Czech audience.

Charming and well kept structure but many rooms smell of mold especially on the low floors. Average restaurant service, Bravo the Italian chef in proposing daily pasta dishes with typical Italian imprint. Recommended.

Beautiful grounds as well as beach, room and pool. There is something for everyone in the main restaurant. We've been here two years ago. Unfortunately, the Beachbar has lost a lot of level. Has become a sports bar and restaurant. This is not possible and makes many guests very dissatisfied …

Nice and beautiful hotel with big park-like surrounding and water channels. Pool area could be nicer with more Arabic style but therefore you get a really huge and excellent beach.

Situated in Outskirts of Salalah, this hotel offers quiet stay away from hassles of hosh posh. Beach walk is a unique experience where you get change to see dolphins making show in the sea. Downside is that rooms are not of great quality and some of the metallic fixtures are already rusted, probably due to humid surroundings. Prices are also escalated.

Very nice hotel. They are currently still expanding the complex to add a water park and more rooms so there is some is going construction work but this is due for completion at the start of 2019. This however takes nothing away from the resort as unless you go looking you would not know it is ongoing. The food in the resteraunt is average price for the area. There is a marina you can walk around eat and shop from. You have a private beach which is clean and life guarded with ample deck chairs. You can have a table set up on the beach with candles for a romantic evening meal.

Resort itself looks lovely but the extremely slow service and poor free Wi-Fi let it down. We upgraded to a deluxe beach view room and had zero Wi-Fi in the room. I tried calling reception to get this sorted but they didn't answer and when I mentioned it at checkout they simply said I should have informed them. We waited over an hour to receive drinks when ordering lunch with the food arriving first after about 50 minutes. The beds were comfortable and the beach and pool were nice but we just couldn't overlook the service to rate it higher. A bit of a let down.

Beautiful hotel in Salahlah with friendly staff. Great breakfast selection, dinner by the beach restaurant was also great. Rooms are big and not too close to the beach.

Very nice hotel and in September very quiet the food is very one sided and not 5 star. The all inclusive is an absolute light version. There's only one sort of beer you don't have to pay. Freshly squeezed juices, cappuccino, espresso and all that are not included in the included card, you have to pay very expensive. The trips are very overpriced. The staff is very friendly. The grounds are very nicely laid out. The pool is too warm for swimming about 3O degrees. Evening entertainment was equal to zero. Conclusion: I would not go there a second time.

Fantastic location! Rooms are spacious. Good staff… nice pool, kida club and gym… Area of improvement could be not enough staff in beach restaurant. Food at Beach restaurant was average especially barbecue. Not many variaty in the main course. Hotel should have free shuttle from airport as its too far.

Perfect vacation spot.

Very nice elegant hotel, we had as extra sea view (which actually all rooms have anyway), thereby an additional package, which for example A separate beach area covered (highly recommended, if you like it very quiet, great service! ) as well as food in the extra restaurant (although we also have the normal restaurant Ausprobuuert, which is also very good (loosely).
Rotana has donated a lot of palm trees to this hotel, which makes the atmosphere very nice… The shadow needs a central European but very (:-) )
Architecture: Modern, unobtrusive, Arabic, so very fitting.
Room and service: very good.

An excellent resort with all types of relaxing facilities and a very nice beach.

Place and staff are great. Beaches and facilities are clean and tidy. The only set back are the high prices of food and drinks. If you plan to rent a car you better book your car from the air port otherwise its very difficult or rather impossible to get rent a car from the hotel. Very friendly staff and food very tasteful.

Very nice place to stay in fall season, the only problem is the uneducated people who will stay in this resort and don't follow the rules of the resort especially in the fall season.

I gust come back from Salalah it was a wonderful place I advice every body to visit rotana resort it's great there is a huge swimming pool, spa and two restaurants also the view is fantastic.

Beautiful beach. Easy drive to several tourist attractions such as Tawi Atair sink hole, Anti-Gravity Point, Khor Rori (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Friendly, helpful and informative staff. A bit far from the city which makes it great as a get away — for business and pleasure, Oh and kids too. They have tour guides but I opted to use their car rental and a good old fashioned map to drive myself to the tourist attractions. Too many places to visit around the resort I didn't have anough days to cover them all.

Great facility. Very clean & modern. Caters to westerners. Nice pool & free breakfast. Beach is surprisingly nice. Isolated, but rental car office is affordable. Restaurant/bar service is slow & expensive. Wi-Fi is atrocious. Even though you pay for the Wi-Fi, it is completely unreliable.

Great weather, great service, only thing I didn't like is the smell of the polluted river flowing through resort.

Not great though iftar ramadan was delicious.

This hotel has a great location but bad management. Zero programs on premises (nothing outside either). Guests go to sleep at 7.

I stayed with my wife in Rotana Resort Salalah from July 28 to July 31 in cluster 7. We had an horrible stay with a service which was not at all in line with the 5 starts classification and the price of the night at more than 1, 300dh (i. E. 130 OMR) breakfast NOT INCLUDED! First of all the hotel seems to be built without knowing that there is regularly a Monson season of 3 months :) 1) There is water everywhere in the hotel. You have constantly your feet and shoes dipped in the water everytime you walk! 2) A plastic tarp in the beach restaurant where was served the breakfast, is not worthy of a 5-star to shelter from the rain 3) Is difficult to go up on stairs without risk injuries The worst part of it, is the service: — every time we needed a buggy to move around (since it rains all time), we were said to wait 10-15m — at a point that for the check out, we were obliged to take our luggages to the lobby all by ourselves and by walking — for a bucket of ice cubes to be brought in our room, we needed to wait for 45m! (they told us your cluster is far away. ) — minibar was empty even for water you had to call room service — for internet, the network was very bad. It took us ages to check and download our emails or even to surf on the net — my wife waited 45 min in a empty restaurant for the soup + sandwich of the day — and the staff looks lost every time you ask for something. — restaurants close at 10:30 but we arrived at 10:15 and they said too late.
