Really beautiful place with view over the dessert. The services were very good, and the staff were very nice and helpfull.

What we loved.
• Unique location on the dune with a fantastic view (most hotels are in the valley or very basic in style)
• Small hotel with individual chalets.
• Chalet with private pool.

This hotel is a hidden gem within the Omani desert. An absolute adventure to get to (you either need 4x4 or the pickup option), you are greeted with luxurious hospitality.

Only had one night here and would have loved to have stayed longer. Such a fabulous place. The desert setting is stunning. Rooms are massive, very well appointed and situated in individual bungalows.

We stayed here for just one night, and it was a wonderful experience. The Presidential Suite is stunning, with every detail beautifully curated.

A wonderful place to stay in the desert. It is easy to reach and you don’t need a 4x4 to get there. The rooms are beautifully and aesthetically designed, and the food is delicious.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Desert Rose Camp. From the moment we arrived, Mr. Noor at reception welcomed us with genuine warmth and kindness.

Our stay at Desert Rose Camp in Oman was nothing short of magical!

Beautiful location! It’s an oase of beauty and peace. The staff is great. The office manager (Piash) helped us with all our questions, and made sure our stay was excellent.

We stayed for one night. Fantastic experience. 35km drive through desert can be easily done with your own 4x4. Small sand dune after 20km but this is no problem. Follow electricity cabels to camp.

First time visit to Oman and always fancied a middle of desert experience. Didn’t really know what to expect but just went for it. Booked a one night stay here and planned the mountains after.

Absolutely top in every way! Stunning sunset over the dunes, everything perfectly organized. Dinner was amazing, breakfast also very good.

We stay in 2 of the luxury tents (4 of us) and had an truly great time!
We had a small 4x4 so drove to the camp. Tent was large, had a ceiling fan and also air con. Private toilet and shower.

This place is amazing!
The rooms are very warm at day, there is a small wind fin in the room but it does not work so good, in winter its very cold at night but there is a small heater in the room.

Amazing stay! The hotel's location was super convenient to walk to turtle beach, but hotel still reachable by a standard sedan.

We had a great stay at OYO 110 Guest House in Ras al Hadd. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable – we slept really well.

Stayed here for one night in order to go to wadi hawar the next morning. Perfectly comfortable and clean place with comfortable beds! Modern and very nice accommodation and community area.

After leaving Wadi Shab, we decided to stop and explore the nearby city of Sur. The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and made us feel very welcome.

They do their best — it's an older hotel with no lift but the room is comfortable and it's in a good location. The manager, Mr Nasser, was very friendly.

E very much enjoyed our stay at the golden palm oasis. Very good communication, instructions, pick up service to make sure your stay starts smooth.

The host was extremely welcoming and friendly – he made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, with great hospitality and attention to detail.

If you need a break from routine work, this is the place. The property location is mesmerizing, and the environment is incredibly serene and peaceful.

We have been coming to Turtle Beach Resort for 14 years and would go nowhere else in the area. We love it and always bring family and friends here when they visit Oman.

Although I was a little apprehensive while I was checking in, I had no choice at that time as it was raining very heavily in IBRA and the hotel

The place was nice and clean the room was spacious and well organised and clean. The toilette was also clean and the water pressure was really good.

Hotel Review – Visit on 27 November 2025 (National Day Holiday)
We visited the hotel during the National Day holiday, and overall the experience was good and worth the price.

As good as it gets!

The staff is supportive, but needs to take measures of cleanliness as I got the room with bedbugs, so changed it after spending couple of hours in it. But the second room was good with beautiful view

I would have loved to have this setup in Muscat. We had a spacious one bedroom apartment with a kitchen, living room and a bedroom all to ourselves.

An amazing chalet with a breathtaking sea view. The place is very clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxation. Excellent location and great service. Highly recommended.

We booked Al Reem Chalet as a layover on our way to Bar Al Hikman and arrived a little after sundown.

At the 1-bedroom Al Reem Chalet you will find grocery shopping service, airport shuttle service and ironing as well as a private pool, a sunbathing terrace and a garden.
