After leaving Wadi Shab, we decided to stop and explore the nearby city of Sur. The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and made us feel very welcome.

They do their best — it's an older hotel with no lift but the room is comfortable and it's in a good location. The manager, Mr Nasser, was very friendly.

Stayed at Plaza Al Ayjah Hotel in Sur and came away impressed. It’s officially a 2-star property, but easily delivers a 4-star experience where it counts.

1 night stay with kids, its dated in style but quite comfortable. Amazing views from sea view room! Quick drive over bridge to beautiful Sur Corniche.

We visited the hotel during the National Day holiday, and overall the experience was good and worth the price.

As good as it gets!

Affordable, and fully equipped rooms for visitors, the staff were also very companion and understanding.

We stayed here for 2N. The location is so relaxing, away from the main city. The hotel has all the amenities. The staff is very kind.

Had a very good experience staying at this hotel. Service was good. Housekeeping, the manager, all friendly. Lulu is nearby. There’s a Pakistani Restaurant nearby serving good food.

It’s nice comfortable, affordable and staff was helpful.

The staff is supportive, but needs to take measures of cleanliness as I got the room with bedbugs, so changed it after spending couple of hours in it. But the second room was good with beautiful view

I would have loved to have this setup in Muscat. We had a spacious one bedroom apartment with a kitchen, living room and a bedroom all to ourselves.

We got a very spacious studio apartment which was clean, had two bathrooms. Large kitchen with fridge was also available in our rooms.

Good place to stay. The apartments have a kitchen and a good bedroom — living room, a large bathroom. It is just a few meters from the beach.

My fav hotel in oman and sur its very clean and they area very nice people also its near by a lot of resturants and parks.

Hi. I stayed in January 2025 during a road trip in the Hotel. Overall impression is absolutely ok. Service person is good in English, helpful and communicative.

This hotel has the perfect mix of what you would like; clean, comfortable rooms. The hotel was clean and freshly renovated. The bed was extremely comfortable and all seemed to be in order.

Positive: The hotel apartment is quite new with a good location near the beach. All facilities are nearby. Good value of money.

Positive: This is our first return to Sea Hotel, following the end of travel restrictions because of the Corona Virus. Everything in the hotel is great, as usual.

There's a new Arabic restaurant at the five continental hotel. Shawarma is great there. You should try once.

Here for very little money. Good quality rooms and services are available. In my opinion you will not be disappointed by booking Al Basaten room. The place is also very beautiful.
