Great food. Beds were terrible. Air con was non existent. Maids only give fresh towels, they do not empty rubbish bins or make the beds.

The hotel may be nothing, but there is no air conditioning in the room, and people from group excursions are fed in a separate room with a more squalid assortment. That's a very disappointing attitude.

Amazing! It's clean, it's cozy. Breakfasts are delicious.

Awful from start to finish!
We were in a section “ outside” the hotel which resembled a backpackers quarters.
Dingy corridors led down to a room with tiny bathroom, windows looked out to a parking area and there was noise all night. Beggars in the street, lots of taxis constantly at the door, it was scary just crossing to the main hotel. Bed was 2 skinny singles pushed together. Breakfast was ok but no equal or similar for on cereal or for coffee.
Coffee machine in foyer didn’t work.
Overall not a pleasant experience. Unless you’re travelling by train I’d avoid this area. Late start for general breakfast as bus tour was served first.

The staff have been excellent. My bag didn't arrive at the airport and they have been very helpful. Good location too.

Nice and clear room. We were quite happy when we just arrived and had a good night until breakfast. We came with tour with 30 people, and were asked to have breakfast in a small meeting room with the other 2 tour with about 80 people. (About 100 people all together in a small room) We don’t have enough place to sit and had spend 20 mins at least on queuing and waiting for food. Whereas at the meantime, there was another opening buffet with few people in but they don’t allow us to go there. I feel upset and discriminated at this hotel in this country who paid so much attention on fairness and equalisation.

It's a good hotel with quality standards. The best thing of all; they don't use ISS for their cleaning!

Very nice Hotel Located near the train station is easily reachable and close to the historic city centre. Equipped with a well-stocked bar where guests are offered tasty and creative cocktails prepared by skilled and professional bartenders. Possibility of catering à la carte also for those who do not stay in the hotel. Nice and helpful staff Strongly recommended.

Located steps from the transit in Drammen. Check in was smooth and the front desk staff were very helpful! Breakfast had plenty of options for everyone and always fresh! Great stay.

It's a lovely place to stay a couple of nights and the lobby is very beautiful and the food is amazing I wouldn't give it a 5 star rating because that is just for the best of the best but you're not far off. Would recommend this hotel if you're in Drammen.

Nice hotel. Reception and bar very nice looking area. Receptionists extremely helpful, good location. Room was a bit on the small side and overlooking a roof. Beer at bar was very expensive, even for Norway hotel standards. Free coffee in lobby, although coffee machine at breakfast service often had issues over the 3 nights. Overall a good place to stay while on business.

I have stayed here for a long duration (4 weeks in total). In my first week the room was tiny. Since I was mostly at work for the entire day I did not have a problem. For the other weeks, I had a bigger room. However, there was a lot of noise in all my stays from other guests walking around in the corridors and from the road facing sides. There is no mini bar or tea/coffee arrangement in the rooms. So you have to walk down to the reception and pay separately. The dinner is also limited to the same 3-4 dishes every single day. Also they don't serve dinner on Sundays, so go figure. The only plus point is that it is closest to the Drammen train station. So if you are a tourist visiting for some days, it is fine.

Room size was ok but could have been bigger. I did not eat the breakfast. Bathroom sink was great. Good varying power levels and drained well. Must have been updated. Shower on the other hand was not. I feel that I cannot give 4 stars when the shower was weakish and was barely adjustable at all (except temperature which was fine). Bed was fine. Didn't have noise problems. Good location.

Lobby was very nice and roomy, decor was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfest was excellent. Rooms were a little small.

I will proudly say that our experience here was professionally courteous and comforting. I will recommend it to anyone,,,,,, thanks.

It's a cozy place. Be quiet. It's all right. Breakfast in a room that resembles the school canteen.

Friendly staff and helpful. Bedrooms could be better but in terms of price and quality it is highly recommended. Very nice breakfast and handy from the Train station. I will go again to this hotel for sure.

Nice hotel, a bit misplaced in the middle of the city next to a reasonably big road, but it's clean and the rooms are great.

Upon my arrival at the hotel, my online reservation seemed not to exist. Apparently the hotel was overbooked so heavily that I should get a room in the hotel itself. Instead I was sent globe hotel with a room key in the building opposite. After I packed a load of donkey, had reached the room on the fifth floor and opened, but I notice, that the room was already occupied. A laptop was on the bedside table, the bed was rumpled and a jacket hanging in the wardrobe. So door again to made the whole way back back at the Ambassador Hotel. After I then became something louder on the info, that it cannot be so comfortable, that I now a room in the globe should get Hotel despite booking at the Ambassador Hotel, that was then also still busy, I've actually gotten a room in the back corner of the top floor at the Ambassador Hotel. So. That's it. Unfortunately, the double room was then very small and under the bed seemed even longer haven't been sucked. Well, that was me relatively no matter, I needed only a bed. But I recommend not will this hotel sure. What was also not aware is that it is a really huge mass processing hotel. Normally I find smaller, friendly hotels always better.

The hostel is located inside the hotel. The bathrooms don't drain the water so it's an inch of water all over the floor. And a bad cup of coffee was expensive and unnecessarily difficult to get. Other that that, the included breakfast was king and they have free to use computers in the lobby. Parking across the street was free between 18-08, and 150nok/day in the hotel parking lot in the basement.

Close to drammen centralstation and working staff are very nice.
