I would recommend Clarion to anybody nothing is too big or small for them to sort out. Staff very warm and welcoming breakfast buffet fantastic. Hotel and room very clean. Will come again.

Good for a weekend in Sandefjord. Interesting interior — almist a whaling museum.

Nice cosy place with good food. Sadly was a bit hot and the a/c didnt work at the time. But overall a good experience.

Nice breakfast, but realy needs blinds in summertime when sun is always out.

Downtown, very well looked after, rooms and large spaces, friendly and friendly staff. Focused on whaling, it's very quaint of the location where it is located, but if you're impressed with taking breakfast from the buffet-whale (complete with harpoon), choose another one!

I didn't see much of the hotel, as I arrived at midnight, slept until after breakfast and left at 11am.
However, check-in was friendly and efficient, complete with a couple of beers for my room.
Room was extremely warm, with no fans or means (that I could see) of cooking the room.
Room was clean and comfortable though, bed was comfortable, although the pillow supply was sparse, 2x largish pillows, a 'one was too thin, two was two thick scenario'.
A quick look around made me regret anything I wasn't spending more time at the hotel and town, but check-up was pleasant and helpful.
Recommend hotel, but check the cooling, maybe ask reception for a fan in summer.

Lovely hotel which included an evening meal and breakfast! Great modern spacious rooms in old style hotel. Only issue was why did they put a gym and running machine on the top floor? The noise pounds throughout the building!

It was nice, they have re done everything revently, it dosent look as old as it used to. Everything is very clean. They also had free carrot cake which was nice.

Wonderful hotel in the middle of Sandefjord city. Delicious dinner in the Hotel restaurant, served by professional and friendly staff. The room was clean and modern with comfy beds. We had a really good night sleep and a great breakfast in the morning.

I had a wonderful stay here, for one night only. The hotel was beautiful, gave a sense of some history of the town, and service was fantastic. Hanne at reception was wondeful and thought of everything — when I checked out at 430 am before breakfast hours, she had a sandwich ready for me to go. Lovely place!

The hotel has recently been refurbished and looks nice, they also I have a good carrot cake.

Booked a room at the last minute as our flight home from Torp was cancelled. Lovely room, very comfortable. Dining room is really quirky but very interesting! Breakfast was good as was the complimentary evening meal. Great location only a few minutes walk from the station.

Clean, spacious rooms and really friendly helpful staff. Food is really tasty as well.

Nice place, mid range priced and very nice staff. Sandefjords most distinct pub is in the basement.

If you like whalefishing and the history surrounding that it's an ok hotel. If you are against it choose another hotel, we missed the whaling part when we booked and had difficult eating in the restaurant…

This place is incredible. Rooms are large and comfortable. The staff is pleasant, cheerful, helpful and professional. The breakfast bar is second to none. The location is perfect. The harbor is close, whale museum is just around the corner. Many eating establishments are very close. Train station is two blocks away. This is a must stay place! Highly recommended.
