Clean, nice view, friendly staff, close to down town, comfortable matress, would stay there again.

A perfect stay in city centre.

It's city centre. Really perfect. Room clean good breakfast very quiet and staff friendly.

A lovely hotel in its price range in the heart of the city, in the walking area. Comfortable clean rooms, nice bathroom and great view from the windows. Breakfast is not very abundant, but fresh and tasty. We only stayed one night and we all enjoyed it. Recommend.

For the price fully o. K. No more. Breakfast mediocre. Elevator available. Coffee in the lobby for free. Rooms clean.

Empty room, no table, no TV atleast I my room and my colegues. Poor breakfest.

Good prices, walking distance to downtown, good breakfast but nothing great as the rooms.

Old and low standard rooms, bed sheets had not been changed from the previous guests. Had to argue with the lady in the lobby to get them to change the sheets.

Simple but cheap. Cute the idea of providing tea with free cookies s any now.

Says its always open, but there is no night time reception. Cannot check in after midnight.

The Skansen Hotel is a good place to stay if you decide to visit the amazing city of Tromsø. The building is located in an area very close to the tourist center, where you can go along the typical streets of the place, also has a considerable number of very cozy rooms, you can have a cup of tea (kindly offer) in a modest Hole and the staff is available for every need. However the cleanliness of the room is unsatisfactory and poorly taken care of, the reception has not very flexible hours and the breakfast does not hold the price comparison, offering little choice both with regard to the sweet breakfast and the salty one.

In the hole as soon as you enter there are small sofas with a counter on one side to take a hot tea with some biscuits.
The staff were great, the room was cleaned 2 or more times a day, the bathrooms very spacious.
Very good location in the middle of the city.
All in all to be a 3 star hotel it is excellent.

Spacious room, bathroom with heated floor, hot drinks at your disposal, as always, friendly, breakfast sufficient (you can't get anything), little traffic around, a stone's throw of all, a restaurant in front…

The location was perfect, room was clean and bathroom was good but pillows were terrible!. Breakfast buffet was not great. Really needed a toaster!

Unfortunately, there is no on-site Restaurant which was also good. Were around the corner in the nice restaurant and were able to admire on the way back, the Northern lights.

The hotel is not bad. There are only 5 TV channels, the bed is soft, but the room is well equipped with heating in the room and underfloor heating in the bathroom. The location is very good. The parking is uncovered, small and payment. Has free Wi-Fi all over the hotel.

Nice simple hotel in the center of Tromso. Rooms are small but nice and clean. Mostly recommended.

For the price and place, the room is just fine. ++Very central but far enough from the loud spots. ++Very polite and helpful staff ++ Great breakfast buffet without garbage-one-portion-food (Some fruits would be nice though) +Windows that can be opened (don't laugh, there are Hotels that do not have this feature) — Staircase seems untouched by service staff — At least in my room you hear everything: Some things through the door, others through the ventilation system (This detail really sucks most)

I was just waiting for a tour to see the northern lights, in fact I was hosted to the front, in a department. I can only say that the hotel has sliding doors.

A 3 star hotel. Prices are good. Very close to the city center. Polite and friendly staff.
