One of the best campings I have ever visited! Good and clean facilities, nice cabins: many of them affordable also to lower budget travellers. Really nice staff and homely feeling in the campsite. Good sauna by the river.

Very nice place clean exquisite people.

A lovely and calm place with nice and friendly service in reception. Decent prices and two extremely loveable dogs to pet and greet. We warmly recommend the grill house kota. Thank you Sirpa and Heikki for the wonderful night!

Clean and calm place! Easy to go! Friendly service!

Beautiful campsite with kitchen and shower free of charge. Located directly on the river. Not to mention the Bernese Sennhund, who is happy when you caress him.

Small caravan camping site, also offers cozy rental cabins and places to build tents. Well equipped kitchen, showers and toilets are kept clean and tidy.

The welcome is warm and friendly. The facilities are all in order, very clean, everything is made available (laundry, dishes, washing-up liquid, kitchen with réféctoire, small kiosk, etc. ). The important work in front, making access difficult, however.

Nice cabin, but a bit weird smell. Good sauna. Roadwork nearby. "Sami Village" was not open. Interesting to watch fishing in the river.

Small houses, with only the bare necessities. There are communal kitchens that are well equipped and very clean. Good showers, clean and warm, but could be busy, as there are few showers for a lot of people.

Clean cabins, clean facilities, kitchen is well-equipped, very helpful staff. The location is ideal: close to the city center but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. Definitely getyour money's worth!

Good value for money. We came here during Christmas in the winter so many places were closed in town but we still found our way there from the airport at Alta. It has underfloor heating in the cabin and sufficient facilities for basic cooking (nothing fancy). Saw the northern lights on 2-3 nights out of 5. The forest/woodland nearby is good for a walk. We had a little campfire there. They let us borrow their sledge which we used for carrying firewood to the woodland for the campfire. They also have a BBQ style hut/cabin that was free to use (except you need to buy the wood to make the fire) — they sold wood at the camp site so it was very convenient. We didn't have a car but there's definitely enough space for car parking if necessary. Not exactly walking distance into the Alta city centre but it's doable — I've done it with my friends. Decent beds (what you'd expect in a cabin), nice hot shower, very clean bathroom and cabin in general.

Ok beds. Nicely outfitted with fridge, stove and closet. No bedclothes. Strange smell in the hallway and bathroom. OK value. Nice view of the Alta River and theAurora Borealis from the window. Good place for cross country skiing.

The location was perfect, we didn't want to visit alta and spend the whole time in the city. It is hard to get into city without a car though so make sure you stock up on food before hand.
Glod and Holmen are just across the road for dog sleddin, sami experience and the northern lights tour. We had such an amazing view of the frozen river from our camp and even saw the aurora borealis above the river.
The family who own the camp were so helpful, they helped us to order food to be delivered and even took us into town the first day to get shopping.
This has been the best place I have stayed in my whole tour of europe!

A very nice and clean place with friendly service, a good place to stop on your way to Nord Cap.
