I booked this place believing it had two bedrooms, but the apartment actually has one bedroom plus a sleeping alcove in the living room with a curtain. The apartments are very simple; everything is IKEA, which works, but isn’t the most durable or comfortable choice for rental bedding and mattresses. There also aren’t enough blackout curtains, so expect light bleed—and limited privacy when walking from the bathroom to the alcove. Overall, it works, but set expectations accordingly and double-check the room layout before booking.
Property is close to hiking trailheads for Gaustatoppen. Parking on-site is convenient. Rooms were clean, quiet, and modern though a bit small with a bar table and 2 chairs squeezed along the side and it was difficult to navigate past them on one side of the bed. There's enough space if you have 2 small pieces of luggage but if you have large luggage, it may be challenging. Breakfast was basic, a picnic basket delivered to your door with a hard boiled egg, a bit of fruit, bread, cheese, meat, and juice. Nespresso machine in the room for coffee. Service was friendly and helpful, we arrived early and were let into our room before the official check-in time.
