Kløver Hotel

Free parking is provided at the hotel. However, one guest noted that the town itself lacks charging stations for electric vehicles used by foreign tourists, though the hotel owner helped resolve this issue.

Opinions about the staff are sharply divided. Some guests rave about the hospitality of the owner, Robert, describing him as a warm and charismatic person, and also praise staff member Kristil for her help in organizing a celebration. Others complain about unmotivated and rude front desk staff who seem uninterested in guests. It is also mentioned that the hotel can check guests in even after midnight in exceptional circumstances.

Reviews regarding breakfast are extremely mixed. Some guests describe it as very delicious, featuring real eggs, fresh cheeses, meats, and homemade jam, while noting the staff's flexibility regarding dining times. Others call breakfast a "disaster" and the "worst in their life," complaining of dry scrambled eggs, undercooked bacon, stale cold cuts, and products served in their original packaging. Poor hygiene of cutlery and slow replenishment of juice are also mentioned.

Ratings of the cuisine range from "delightful" and "delicious" to "subpar." Negative reviews mention cold dishes, poor service, dirty glasses, and low food quality: the salad was described as stale, while the chicken and meatballs were reported to taste like canned food. There was also an instance where items not ordered by guests were mistakenly added to the bill.

Guests note the availability of free Wi-Fi, which works properly.

Soundproofing at the hotel is very poor. One guest reported hearing their neighbor snoring all night and the sound of water in the adjacent bathroom, calling it one of the worst nights of their life.

The condition of the rooms draws much criticism: guests describe the interior as outdated, reminiscent of the 1970s, with falling-apart wardrobes and broken curtains. Beds are often characterized as overly firm, giving the feeling of sleeping on the floor, and mattresses as old spring mattresses without a topper. In-room maintenance issues are also mentioned: non-functional TV remotes, broken toilet seats, and a lack of handrails on the stone stairs leading to separate buildings.

Some rooms feature terraces, which guests view positively. However, there was a complaint regarding a shared veranda with neighbors, where the door could not be locked.

Reviews on cleanliness vary from "clean rooms with good bathrooms" to complaints about poor housekeeping, dirty carpets, dust, and even a mention of bedbugs. Guests also complained about dirty glasses in the restaurant and unwashed bed linen.

The heating system operates inconsistently: guests reported non-functioning underfloor heating in the bathroom, leaving the floor freezing cold. Ventilation issues are also mentioned, including poor room air quality and strong, unpleasant odors of mold, trash, or cigarette smoke throughout the hotel.
