Clean rooms, great complimentary breakfast, friendly staff. Surprisingly inconvenient room setup — only two light switches, where the bathroom light also triggers the main room light. The other lights are very bright and point directly to the head space on the beds. No fine control over temperature or air flow in the rooms. It is close to the train station and less than 20 minutes from most city center attractions though.

It's pretty rundown as far as Scandic hotels go, and I might have gotten the smallest room I've ever stayed in.

Nice hotel dead center in Oslo. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Rooms clean and modern (did not stay overnight, but a couple I know stated the weekend, and I visited their room during the event). Location is good for all activities in Oslo. Close to the main street Karl Johan, and close to the Central station if you need to go somewhere by train/bus. Prices are to be expected on a hotel in the city center, but compared to some other hotels it's actually reasonably priced.

Tidy hotel, comfortable rooms, comfortable beds, clean, decent breakfast not bad price all in all a good hotel. Oslo is fairly small but this is situated right in the centre literally a 2 minute walk from the train station.

Pros: Excellent location, the train station out of three minutes, nearby shops, and reasonable prices, even if the single room has the space to open the suitcase and desk Disadvantages: after night train tram sound quite disturbsleep, window soundproofing is not good, the second floor can hear pedestrians playing loudly on the street, check-in to require high floors in advance!

Location is good, the breakfast have good variety. The room is spacious but the shower is very small.

Very well appointed rooms and a huge breakfast spread. Location is just 2 mins from the railways station and is walking distance from good restaurants and sightseeing places.

A three star with small rooms. Very noisy weather system. Good breakfast. Well located next to the train station Centtal.

Nice place to stay especially because of the location. But as I am often travelling due to business this hotel has one disadvantage — they don't have iron in the room, you have to take you shirt take through corridors to the room with iron. Very dehonesting.

So easily accessible from the Oslo Train station. All the staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and during our short stay. The rooms were clean and neat. Loved that it had a bath and shower. Great for a quick stopover or slightly longer stay. Plenty restaurants nearby within walking distance. Staff assisted with arranging breakfast on the go as we had an early pick up transfer.

The staff were very friendly and the room was very nice.

Small rooms, but centrally located & convenient. Do a good buffet breakfast included. As well as buffet lunch & dinner which is reasonably priced by Oslo standards.

This place was fine, except it had stairs IN the hotel room we had. Immediate entrance was a staircase down to the actual room. Do you know how hard that thin set of stairs is for me? I'm a cow, for crying out loud! My bell was bumping into the walls and Lord knows what else. Other than that, the place would make any breed of bull happy.

It's pretty small place, like a compact hotel but the staff is friendly. No kitchen except breakfast. A decent hotel but expansive.

The hotel is a bit run down at the edges, good breakfast buffet and helpful staff weighs up for most things.

Hotel a few steps from Oslo Sentrum station, some rooms are small, but with comfortable bed.
Free access to fitness room, sauna and Wi-Fi.

Central location near train station which takes you to the airport, Metro and central shopping street, all within walking distance of the hotel, great and abundant European breakfast, good cleanliness of the room although not very large.

Nice and clean hotel with a great breakfast buffet. Though the location is not the nicest, it is central and close to the transportation hubs. Rooms are poorly lit.

Very good location, but it is old and the hallways long. Spacious rooms, good and comfortable.

Great Hotel… it might not have all the bells and whistles and the area around it at night is a bit dodgy… but the hotel rooms are spotless, the breakfast is like nothing else in Norway, the service top notch, the manager an absolute gent and I stay there now everytime I am in Oslo, without fail. On a last note for me, its always about the hotels internet connection and this one was perfect (Skype cam friendly and more). Highly recommended.
