We are enjoying our suite style room in this great location in Oslo! A large buffet breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious too! I highly recommend this hotel!

The rooms are spacious and the small kitchen area really appreciable. Internet-connected TV provides good access to Netflix. On the other hand, the Wi-Fi was relatively unstable. Small attention for the staff to the welcome, always smiling and at your disposal. Regarding breakfast I can not find superlative to qualify, there was really everything, but we only have a stomach. After this hearty meal, the day can begin. Its location is perfect, not far from the center without the nuisances of it.
After looking for the gym I inquired. It is not as stated in the hotel but in another establishment a hundred meters away, in addition you have to book beforehand. So quite complicated. The paid and unsecured outdoor parking was not reassuring.
Despite this, I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The hotel is not and certainly not worth the price. In the corridors it smells of indefinable chemistry. The room was not clean. The reception just average.

Central location, very close to the Royal Palace, close to the city centre, the harbour area and reachable by 20-minute walk to Vigeland Park. Very comfortable rooms with kitchenette. Room with terrace. Satisfied.

I stayed at Thon Slottsparken in Dec 2016 and I found it to be wonderful. The breakfast buffet is absolutely FANTASTIC! Recommended!

Spacious, clean, free coffee at the lobby is really a plus, staffs were all nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, delicious and varied!

Nice place, good staff. Good cooking area but no oven. Clean room and comfortable bed.

No air conditioning, which means it got uncomfortably hot in my room in summer. (Note: very few hotels in Oslo have air conditioning). Moreover the synthetic comforters were too hot so I sweated at night. My suite was expensive but it included a separate sitting room as well as a kitchen. The breakfast buffet was good and the personnel was helpful.

The hotel is centrally located (near the main street Karl Johan's Gate, the Palace, the University of Oslo's old campus and the subway station). The hotel room amenities are great (they feel and look like a serviced apartment than hotel rooms) and the hotel staff can be really friendly and helpful. They also promote less food waste.

Structure a little dated but nice and spacious rooms. Breakfast rich both sweet and salty. Central location Recommended.

Courteous, friendly staff, very nice large rooms. The breakfast offers a sensational selection of everything you can expect. Thanks to the central location directly at the Castle Park, you can walk in the city or at the Akerbrygge in a few minutes. Less expensive compared to other hotels in the surrounding area. Absolute recommendation for a city trip.

Very nice hotel. The proximity to the Castle Park and the city centre means that everything is within easy walking distance. Even the main train station is a maximum of 15 minutes.
The breakfast is very extensive and there are both lots of Norwegian stuff like fish, cheese and freshly baked bread, as well as the American classic bacon, scrambled egg and so on.

Very good, but don't expect too much from the view…

Nice hotel, good touch to have free coffee in the lobby. Had a few issues with my payment but the team sorted out for me within a few days. The breakfast was amazing with lots of choice even when the hotel was quiet with few guests.

Stayed at this hotel because of a gift from a friend. Great location, very friendly staff and superb breakfast! The room we were staying in was a business room. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. You could almost have a dance party there. The one thing I would like the hotel to do is to redecorate the room to more modern standards and give it more furniture.

A simple, but very comfortable hotel. Large rooms with everything that's needed, modern furniture, nice bathroom, comfortable bed. Breakfast is really awesome, with a large selection of different fresh and healthy (and less healthy :) foods. Personnel is very nice and helpful. 24/7 reception, free coffee. I would have loved a fridge/minibar in the room and maybe a gym in the hotel. It was a little bit far from the next train station, but that's really not a problem.

It's a very tasty breakfast. The buffet. It's not a hotel room, it's an apartment. Two rooms, there are dishes, microwave, cooking panel.

Practically located close to Karl Johan, and 10 minutes from the Nationalteateret subway station. Rooms are large and tidy, with kitchen appliances and a small living room. Bathrooms are very small. Breakfast buffet has a small collection of hot meals, and a mediocre selection of bread, spreads and cold cuts. Friendly staff.

I find the Slottsparken hotel being a great choice when in Oslo! It offers friendly staff, clean rooms, two gyms, a generous breakfast buffet AND it's an apartment hotel, meaning that you have a small kitchenette in your room and laundry machines in the basement. Finally, there's a nice coffee machine in the lobby, which you might as well consider being your second living room. See you there?

Rooms are very clean. The breakfast buffet is amazing! Heated bathrooms are amazing and hotel staff are very friendly!

Nice spacious rooms. Great location next to Slottsparken and is very quiet in the rooms. Comfy beds and some cooking facilities. All round good hotel.

Very helpful staff. The room was spacious and clean. The view is not one of the strong points. Excellent breakfast buffet. The location is fabulous, the hotel entrance from the Royal Palace Gardens. Welcome the Nespresso offered to customers in the lobby. Overall a good experience. Again.

Good and clean Hotel with a good breakfast and attentive service. The bed is also good but the free Wi-Fi is a nightmare. Even I have had full strength the connection speed was so slow I could not work properly in my room. This is an apartement hotel, so younare able to cook your own food in your room. In the basementnof the hotel you'll findna nice pub to relax after a hard working day. The T-Bahn is just a walking distance away, so this hotel is a perfect start point for visiting Oslo.

Very nice hotel for its price, friendly staff, large room (I think we got an upgrade, it was more than I expected), great breakfast buffet.

Excessively overpriced, falls into the minimal-service category. Should elevate cleanliness, improve services, including breakfast. Gym is pretty small. Hospitality, politeness also should be improved upon. If you can, select an other place to stay.
