In a century old hotel, you wil enjoy an very good buffet diner. Rather expensive but it is in Norway average for this quality. The decoration is nice too.

Familiar, typical and traditional mountain Hotel. Wood and chimney give to place a classical and warm atmosphere from Northwestern Norway. Nice lounges welcome gusts offering pace-full corner where read, have chat, drinking, tea coffee, chocolate or any other drink. A lounge is equipped with a playable piano. Interesting picture exposition is shown in a small room (pictures from 1905 to 2005 regarding Hotel history. In the restaurant you can see pictures and medals from the Lillehammer's Olympic Winter Games 1994. Ski lift available just behind the Hotel. No TV in the rooms. No lift. Vintage bath room.

A wonderful place, nice service, delicious food, a hotel in a unique location with great stories that have taken place in the house or in the area, a hotel with pictures from different eras, I come back to immerse myself in the Norwegian mountains, thank you For the service.

Very atmospheric hotel, simple but good rooms. Great dinner buffet!

Beautiful destination. Great rooms with fantastic views. V Many lovingly furnished common rooms, small sauna with access to outside. Super tracks directly from the hotel. Ski lift directly at the house. Parking spaces available. Charging stations for e-Mobile and free Wi-Fi.

So nice and cosy hotel. The rooms are really nice and great view. Breakfast has every possible thing you could want. Nice bar with Norwegian priced local beers.

I don't like the hotel The bed was awful. The springs were pushing in my back. The recepionist calls it the best beds… we were given the opportunity to change rooms, but the other bed (which was supposedly newer and better) had the same issue. The room hasn't changed in the last 30 years I think… and the bathroom was below expectations. The buffet wasn't so good. The interior downstairs was lovely and cosy.

"Historic hotel", more like got stuck in time — > ugly room. The beds are just horrible, you can just the springs in your back. In the morning, I was more tired than when I got in. Thin walls and a strange bathroom, but we found that this is typical for Norway. Small details, the Wi-Fi sucks! And no tv, but we didn't need it yet on our trip through Norway (in case you would need 1) Diner is a buffet, but we didn't like it, luckily the chocolate mousse was great. Breakfast was fine, it was like in any other hotel. The staff is far from professional and when we decided to leave, they were just rude. Just because of this, they're getting the lowest score.

An OK cafe, in a very convenient spot when you've driven the Gamle Strynvei. Toilets without paper in the towel machine leave you a bit at a loss.

Stayed in the restaurant for a few hours whilst waiting for the bus back to Oslo, coffee is strong and has free refills and the elk burger is incredible! Cosy atmosphere.

Had dinner at the Fjellkro. A cosy place with friendly staff. Had the evening buffet including a small dessert and a cup of coffee at a good price.

A hotel with charm, style, traditional Norwegian. In the middle of nowhere, and, free from noise and hassle of the city.

Was in September 2013 with friends in a cafe. Very tasty, nice interior, helpful staff. Everything rides on 15-route make a stop, go here. You will not regret it.

I visited the hotel cafeteria. The food was excellent. I paid 198 NOK for a dinner, with a choice of reindeer stew, local meatballs and lamb. Basic but well prepared well tasting local food.
