All you can eat pizza for 12-6pm. In Egon next door. :)

Excellent help from Janet helped to save the day when I experienced a problem with my on line booking. Beautiful, fully equipped room with spectacular view. Such a spacious, spotless bathroom loaded with so many special items for our use. I have stayed in larger hotels around the world, but this hotel stands out as one of the best. Perfect location, great breakfast and the best staff I have experienced in a long time.

Nice rooms, central location, but the biggest selling point is their breakfast wich is out of this world! Everything imagineable and all you could ever want. Fresh food and drinks. Just perfect.

Beautiful room, with the northern light wallpaper! And breakfast… wauw, everything is delicious! And big assortment, a choice for everyone. They even have vitamin supplements, if that is what you like to have. And friendly and helpful reception!

Clean rooms. Very good breakfast. The location is also quiet yet central.

Wonderful room, everything you need to hand, iron, ironing board, selection of teas, posh coffee pod, even decaffeinated coffee, huge smart TV whose remote control acted like a computer mouse, by just pointing it at whatever you needed to interact with on screen. Great service too.

This is a great hotel with great facilities.

Our last hotel on this trip. The Thon Hotel has a restaurant near the reception: Egon, which is very good. Hotel has free Wi-Fi. The is a parking garage on the back. Costs around 200 Kronen per day. Staff was very friendly. Rooms are very stylish and modern. They have a Nespresso machine in the room. The bathroom is modern and clean. The beds are good. There are two chairs and a huge window front. The first impression is very good. The shower is awesome, you get out and fill like reborn. The breakfast is amazing — so much choice, you don't know where to start…

What a great surprise! As a Thon Gold member I have visited a lots of Thon hotels in Norway. Thon hotel Polar in The Artic Capital Tromsø is one of the very best I have ever visited! The hotel is situated in downtown Tromsø, and all the main sights are just a few minutes away. The airport bus stops right outside the hotel. Our upper floor room (637) facing the harbour was very clean, spacious and filled with nice amenities (see my attached photos). Nespresso coffee machine in room were a nice treat. The room was perfectly cleaned every day. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Everything one would need (towels, hairdryer, shampoo etc. ) was provided. They served an excellent choice for breakfast in the nice and spacious breakfast room. Coffee, tea, muesli with fresh fruit and yoghurt, cheese, cold meats, smoked salmon, fish, cereals, various breads, bacon, sausages & eggs and much much more (see my photos). All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Excellent service at check in! After all a highly recommended hotel and we would stay here again! Regards Svein-Magne Tunli from Bergen, Norway.

I actually loved this hotel. The rooms are different, it looks like every detail has been taken care of; the bed and pillows super comfortable, the decoration and furniture amazing, plugs everywhere near the bed (not so easy to find in Norwegian hotels) … And to top it all, breakfast is just perfect, I literally had 3 times my regular amount of food just to be able to try everything (and couldn't, of course). You can do your own tea blend and your own real orange juice (from real oranges) and your own toasts, not to mention the variety of cheeses and crackers and toppings for youghurt and beautifully presented smoothies… It's heaven and the best part of my stay.

I liked the Nespresso on the room and the breakfast was very very very good! We had a very nice stay on our roundtrip in Norway!

Nice location. No A/C which makes it hard to bear during arctic summer nights.

We have travelled in Norway for a month including a Hurtigruten cruise without doubt this stay has been the best. Our room is small, our view of the marina is fantastic, the breakfast is the BEST in Norway! Reception staff are very helpful, Kristen went above and beyond in trying to help us when we had a problem with our Eurail pass!

Great hotel with amazing sea view.
The reception was great the staff are very polite and attentive and the rooms really nice and clean.
Contrary to other hotels here in Norway, I noticed that this at the entrance offers drinks and coffee (also the espresso) free of charge.
Definitely recommended.

房間面海超級漂亮的，坐著欣賞日出日落很美，不過房間裡的餅乾汽水需要另外付費，房間內有免費的茶，咖啡拗，熱水，沐浴用品齊全，服務員親切，早餐餐點很多，超讚，另外還見到機組人員入住，整體超級滿意的羅
