Horrible hotel, the looks are nice, the service is horrible. I had complete chaos from the time I touched down last week, they’re policies aren’t respectful at all. (your not allowed outside food in the hotel, what if your family cooked meals for you and wanted to bring them to you and you’ve been out of the country, also no more than one person is allowed in your room at a time.
Room service very slow, I called the front desk for wash cloths and was told they don’t give out wash cloths. The rate they charge is just for the looks of things not for the service they provide. The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is they’re hotel manager Lawrence was very nice and accommodating. This hotel is overpriced and under serviced and they most certainly don’t care about out of town guests. Would definitely not recommend this hotel, especially to people coming from out of town. The looks are very deceiving.

The Hotel Staff was incredible! Room Service was really good and had a variety of options. The lobby and breakfast buffet was everything. Lastly, The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and views from all angles of Lagos. My family and I felt like we were at home for almost 8 or 9 days.

Newish hotel I think as scaffolding still up at front. Car park for a new hotel should be much better than this. Suggest number the parking bays. Staff of hotel need to be more attentive and hospitable to ensure happy customers. Visited for a seminar in a meeting room which was of good standard.

Customer service is superb here. The hotel is clean and the wonderful views from the 17th floor is quite impressive. Their buffet meals are so tasty. But I did notice the absence of any prawns. Lastly, if they invest in air freshners/ scented candles, it will be wonderful. Had a lovely time though.

Intercontinental Hotel Victoria Island is a beautiful hotel with a contemporary look and feel. There is a large hall usually used for events, conferences and exhibitions. There is a lot of space for networking, red carpet, displays etc in front of the hall which can be nicely decorated for effects. There is insufficient parking space at the hotel, so most cars get to park on the streets which may not be very convenient or could wnd up far away from the hotel. I haven't tasted the food in the hotel yet, so I cannot assess their food just yet. Overall, it is a fanciful hotel to visit.

The different times I have been here have been for events and each visit has had literally the same effect on me — high class and luxurious. The food options are world class, the restaurants are exquisite and it tastes just as good. Room rates are equated to world class standards and the luxury experience given. I look forward to a getaway weekend there.

Always a delight walking in to this beautiful 4atar hotel located in the highbrow area of Lagos. Have been here a couple of times for programs, can say there services are great, beautiful environment, classy and indeed attracts class. Again a great day for here at the American chamber of Commerce fair. My beautiful evening was however almost ruined by some security who came on me with a stern face because I was taking pictures, according to him, I need to take permission if I want to take picture of the structures even after I shared what I'm doing with pictures to him, meanwhile two great staff posed for the camera for me. It beats me though, a four star hotel in Lagos?

I was here for an event at their main hall. The underground parking is great, the parking attendants were courteous, the lifts were beautiful. The hall was spacious with projectors and wall panels. The food was amazing with several continental dishes on menu. All in all it was an amazing experience being here. And before I forget the lounge is awesome, spacious, welcoming with helped receptionists.

Good: Totally in a class of its own! From the bed to the decor to the furniture… it was all great. Best of all, the provided more than enough bottled water in the rooms. I was impressed. Bad: The elevator management is quite annoying, what with the full-time attendants. Also, the luxuries you enjoy would cost you a tidy sum!

This is a well spacious and furnished hotel. I was so amazed staying in this hotel for a night lol (expensive much). It is a five star luxury hotel and I came for a meeting. Everything about this hotel is top notch; viewing from outside to inside. It feels like heaven inside (no jokes). Their customer service is great also and you are best assured to feel at home. I give it to them for the best hotel I have stayed in Nigeria yet. I will surely visit again in the future when.

Lovely view of the waterfront and the beautiful city of Lagos from my room on the 18th flour, clean and spacious room… Good ambience. Good food and Smiling staff. Home away from home and I enjoyed my stay here.

Outlandishly beautiful. The room is aerated and well lit. Very spacious too. There's a standby refrigerator with water and soft drinks. A coffee kettle and tea options including green teabags. The view is mind blowing. I loved the city-scape especially the springing Eko Atlantic. The visual at night was just too good. The bathroom is so clean that I had to remain in the water to help me sleep off. There's Internet Connectivity but I don't know why it wasn't connecting. So, I didn't have time to check out the rooftop swimming pool but each time I am on the lift, I get to see it. World Class facility and staff. There's wheelchair access and adequate car park. This place is just cool but comes with a price tag!

On day 2 of my visit and still here for the rest of the week. The hotel is beautiful, and the room very comfortable. So far I have only been met with smiles and extremely helpful staff members. Enjoyed a run in the gym as well. Food has been great. So far I can only thank them for a very pleasant experience.

Intercontinental hotel is exquisite, cool, calm, lively and lovely! It is strategically situated in a way that your stay at the place would be worthwhile. Not far from the Intercontinental Hotel location is the Spa, shopping outlets, very good hospitals, beaches, etc. The US embassy is also reachable easily from there. There are car hire services available there too.

The service is really good, but even though this is a fairly new hotel it looks like the weather is getting to it. Out a few outlets don't work anymore. The rooms are fairly comfortable. And the views are nice.

They spent a lot of money on the building, fair. But they didn't do much about creating any sort of life to the franchise. Feels really dull for the price and the communal facilities (pool, gym, spar area) needs a lot of maintenance. Pretty shocking to be fair. They could easily install a grand piano at the foot of their stairs and have someone play every now and then, invest more into an open bar that would bring people to the building and maybe think about their room prices. That being said, the food is decent and the rooms are pretty good. But for the price and stature, I expected more.

Not a bad 4 star hotel. A healthy number of restaurants and bars — including rooftop and outdoors, great gym and massage service and good ambience.

Comfortable, Cozy, Elegant and beautiful. Staying in intercontinental is a pleasant experience, the staff are welcoming, the in-room dining is wonderful and the service is great. The only thing that could be improved upon is the maintenance and caretaking of the place. The rooms have atleast one light or appliance that has a problem, even the premium suites.

Intercontinental Hotel is a five star hotel in the heart of Victoria Island. I visited the hotel during the soft opening and was impressed. Years later I cannot say the same. It boasts of an Italian restaurant, and Asian restaurant, Afro-continental restaurant, a lounge, ballroom, a cafe, swimming pool and a gym. It’s still a very popular choice for weddings and other events. It is an upscale place with amenities not commensurate with the pricing. The hotel is not well maintained and appears to be on a downward slope. This was clearly evident from the wilted plants (once with flowers) at the reception desk. The hotel robes are worn, the rugs are stained, the beds and furniture are stained as can be seen from my photos. The bathroom doors are not well cleaned. A hotel of this standard should offer impeccable service whether in (Nigeria or Switzerland) in my opinion. Even though it ranks as one of the nicer hotels in Nigeria, there is always room for improvement.

Best hotel in Lagos, great view of the city this hotel is close and accessible to everything in the city. Yhe food is both local and continental. Rooms are beautiful abd air conditioned which is a must in Lagos.

This is the best hotel in lagos in my opinion. I cannot wait to come here again. I had points from staying at holiday inn and redeemed it here. Very classy too.

Great hotel and excellent atmosphere. It's quite upscale so not the kinda place to go when you're counting pennies. If you can afford it, you do get value for your money.

Great hotel. Truly 5*. In my opinion best option in Lagos. Have Suya in beef, chicken or prawns on the 5th floor poolside restaurant. It's amazing and spicy.

Spacious, clean and beautifully laid out room. Lovely view of the waterfront from my 17th floor corner room. Room service (food) was good, though a long wait for order to be delivered.
Disappointing to see that staff encountered seemed either unhappy with their job, or just aren't clued up on good customer service.
Customer care poor. I have had to contact the hotel since checking out because the excess incidentals that they debited from my account has not been refunded. The hotel sends emails apologising and promising to process the refund but 3 weeks on and it's yet to be resolved. Better customer service is expected from a 5* hotel in the IHG.

This is one out of two truly a 5 star hotel in Lagos. I spent few nights here for an event in the Grand African Ball Room and the experience was amazingly impeccable. The rooms are perfect royalty, excellent, clean, romantic:) with angles and views you can't find else where. If you want to see Lagos, stay at the top floor rooms, great view of Lagos. The environment is super serene, awesome and very inviting. Very gorgeous bathrooms, great facilities and amazing food and drinks in the bars. The breakfast has lots of options to pick from. There's a small gym facility as well to burn the excess calories from the bar and restaurant. The room rates averages at $250 per night, that's expensive when compared to other 5 star hotels in London or New York.

A truly 5 star hotel. 1 of 2 currently in lagos. This rooms are amazing with angles and views you can't get else where. The bathroom is breath taking and beautiful. The facility is just remarkable with amazing food, bars and restaurants. The gym is sweet but small compared to the number of rooms in the hotel. It could also be better equipped. The breakfast is replete with options and the breakfast area is beautiful. If you got the bucks and want to stay in a great hotel then this is it. Room rate averages around $200 per night.

Everything about this place is world class luxury. I love this place and would recommend it for anyone who do not want to compromise on quality service.

World class hotel but best for formal meetings. Destination elevators are annoying though. Another peeve is that there is zero network coverage in the basement so you probably going to find a hard time calling up your vehicle.

The reception fantastic, the view awesome… I have zero complaints about the place… They only lose a star cause d place is pretty damn expensive. But then again, I guess good things don't always come cheap.

A vertically oriented building with magnificent architecture; surely puts Intercontinental Hotels, Victoria Island as one of the most iconic buildings in Victoria Island. A very large and aesthetic appealing reception awaits you when you step into the hotel through the glass doors. The chandelier suspended from what looks like a thing copper wire is all too breathtaking. All though with limited parking spaces for a large events, the hotel sure makes up for this with its, bohemian balcony of each rooms overlooking the serene albeit upscale Victoria Island and its adjoining lagoons; not forgetting there's the Atlantic Ocean to the South. Its breathtaking on all 360.

Probably the best business hotel in Lagos. As usual it's not too safe to walk around anywhere in Lagos. Only issue I had is that room service takes a really long time to deliver. Spacious rooms. Bring along a chromecast or similar if you want to supplement the TV channels (there is a pretty good range anyway). Good breakfast selection.
