Guest Pride Hotel Kano

We got a beautiful experience in Kano thanks to Guest Pride Hotel. Their staff well trained, the hotel, very clean and at the centre of Kano. For foodie like me, I enjoyed their meals especially the vegetable soup. It was so fun to access the market easily too for those who love to shop gadgets and more. If am in Kano again, I will be at Guest Pride Hotel over and over again.

The Staff of the hotel are too homely and welcoming.
They listen and offer solutions to any sligh complaint.
The environment is very calm and peaceful.
The room is wide, neat and conducive.
The wardrobe needs to enclosed one.
The only issue is the government road.
Nice place to stay and enjoy your self.

One observation worth mentioning is the presence of many motorcycles parked near the hotel and a lot of people nearby. While I didn’t find out why this happens, it could be a bit overwhelming for guests who prefer a quieter surrounding.
Overall, it’s a decent choice for a simple, no-frills stay in Kano, with potential for a more refined experience if minor adjustments are made.

Very cozy hotel, great services and chief in a safe environment close to a mall too.

Located in the heart of Kano, I was a little bit scapetical at the location because of how Kano was but by the second day of my stay it was easy for me to stroll through the neighborhood 😞
Lots of cars and motorcycles outside the hotel, I think it's a place for washing automobiles and I also discovered a large market for all sorts of phones.
By the fifth day of my stay it was safe to freely walk through the neighborhood without being scared.

Hmmm. I don't know if what happened was just on that day as I visited a friend who came for a training and was lodged there. The training couldn't commence till the late afternoon because there was power issue. The power issue continued till evening when I left that I began to wonder if the hotel rely on the national power grid for their business. This made my stay not interesting. I hope the management resolve this issue ASAP as it's not good for their business.
That's been said, the location on Google map was accurate as we relied on that to get there and we weren't disappointed.
The room was okay with everything in place, but was the wardrobe supposed to be open as there was no door attached to it? Like, it's a new trend which I have not seen elsewhere or a new concept, it's not worth it, it's not "concepting" 😂 at all b'cos I would want my luggage to be in an enclosed space away from my guests' view in the room. Wardrobe was just like a shelf…
Oh! How can I forget the standing mirror, that caught my attention as soon I entered the room. You get to see one's image from head to toe. I loved that.

This hotel is super comfortable. The staff are well-trained and highly professional.

The manager and staff were very courteous and helpful. Meals served in their restaurant were memorable. It was more like a home away from home.

It’s better than your regular hotel, with spacious rooms and 24 hours power. It’s a place you keep coming back to. But can improve on the Wi-Fi.

The hotel was very homely, nothing extraordinary. Price was good too, we enjoyed a 20% discount on the luxury room for booking before arrival. However, the road to the hotel was bad, service was quite terrible, and the toilet bidet was faulty.

Nice, clean, quiet and newly painted when I visited on Sunday 2nd October 2022.
I had a situation where I had to check out of the hotel just about 3 hours after checking in because my host in Kano had reserved accommodation for me without my knowledge.
After checking out I made a complaint for a part refund but surprisingly the hotel management made a 💯% refund of my money 😊.
This is so encouraging and a tremendous gesture for a full refund rather than a partial one I know is beyond the hotel policy. The hotel manager did that to encourage future patronage and customer relationship.
I will always visit Guest Pride Hotel whenever I'm in Kano for its impeccable consideration and hospitality.

Rooms are good, food is Ok Ok, but Wi-Fi is not working no Speed in Wi-Fi and every hour it's disconnected, water pressure is not good whenever going for the bath waiting for the water at least 30 mins.
They don't know how to make invoice after taking payment.
Rooms and some staff are very fine.

I have bin so reluctant to write but I really need to write to encourage some other people. 85% reasons I used this hotel is bcos of nice reviews from other guest. It took me month to choose this hotel bcos they didn't have some other amenities I needed like gym and pool… but finally I decided to try them… and even though they didn't have all those amenities I was so impressed with their services the hotel is a reserved and clean one with excellent staffs. I enjoyed my stay and if you are looking for a cool place to stay while in kano… try guest pride hotel thanks.
