I stayed at the apartment for 3 nights and it was truly one of the most comfortable apartments I’ve stayed in. The hospitality is top notch and compared to other apartments their rates are very reasonable and they give much more than you actually pay for. They have very professional and helpful staff.

I had an amazing stay at this apartment over the weekend. The interiors were absolutely top-notch — stylish, clean, and very comfortable. I also enjoyed the calm and peaceful environment, which made the stay even more relaxing.
The 24-hour electricity was a big plus, and the hospitality was genuinely impressive. Everything was well-packaged and thoughtfully arranged, which made the whole experience feel premium.
Overall, I had a great time and would definitely love to stay here again. Highly recommended!

The service was impressive. From the polite gentleman who picked us up from the airport in a neat SUV, to the polite and professional people who met us at the Home. Joseph and another (I can't recall his name).
The environment was serene, quite, with a nice bit of nature incorporated.
The home was well air-conditioned with nice furniture and decor, fully fitted kitchen equiped with all you would need to live.
It also felt secure with the high fence, opaque gate. And automatic coded doors with a security guarding the gate.
We enjoyed our stay and I recommend this place to anyone.
I am definitely staying here again.

This is my second time having a birthday get away at challawariver… The first time was an excellent stay for me, this time, it’s Phenomenal! it gets better and better I must say.
It didn’t feel like I had left home… I practically felt at home immediately I checked in… the serene blew me away… the beautiful scented apartment is unmatched! Not forgetting the pleasant services from the staffs…. My stay was greatly memorable. Thank you so much.

Great place to stay. I enjoyed every bit of my time staying there while I was in Calabar. The service was top notch and they have a very good set of staff that would ensure you are comfortable at every point in time. I will definitely stay there again during my next visit to Calabar and also recommend to anyone traveling to Calabar for vacation or business.

My first visit to Calabar, Nigeria, and I had the pleasure of booking with ChallawaRiver Homes. My apartment consisted of 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, kitchen, living room/ dining area, and a balcony with a pretty view of tropical trees.
The apartment was decorated in a pretty, while yet masculine, African style decor. The apartment was very clean, and spacious for 3-4 persons comfortably. The shower had a heater which was nice. The first night my a/c wasn’t really cooling down my room, which was extremely uncomfortable, but with one call, the onsite employee came within 30 mins and fixed the problem for me. The bed is on the extra firm side, but nonetheless very comfortable with the nice cool/ satin sheets they have.
They also have washing service which was my favorite amenity! My clothes were washed and beautifully folded.
Some suggestions for the management team that I feel will keep this apartment as a 5 star with the next guest…
• Add more hangers to the closets.
• Add a full length mirror in each room or in the living room area.
• Sometimes the security was very loud with what appeared to be friends. They’d be outside the gates, but loud enough to hear them within our space. As someone that appreciates quiet for meditation and or reading sometimes it was a bit irritating.
I’m still giving 5 stars because I believe the heart of this home had 5 star intentions. I would stay again on my next trip to Calabar!

Very homely and tidy apartment with all essentials needed available. Safe and close proximity to most places. Overall it made my stay in Calabar very comfortable and memorable.

It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The apartment was beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.
The location was perfect, providing easy access to local attractions and dining options. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed.
I especially loved the artifacts, it created an authentic African atmosphere in the home.
It felt like home away from home.

One amazing thing I do like about ChallawaRiver Homes, is that there are access code and uninterrupted Wi-Fi connection. It just like place when you get lost with no knowing even when the breaks, coupled with art works and little sculptures in the living room and bedroom depicting the African culture of Cross River State makes the environment and surroundings befitting to stay.

It was a pleasant experience, very homey aesthetic and the staff were absolutely wonderful.
Their response time was excellent but I feel it’s only right I complain about the Wi-Fi being inconsistent and the fact that one of the bathrooms had an electrical fault.
But all in all, it was quite an enjoyable stay.

As people coming to Calabar for the very first time, the entire CR team made our stay hassle free and their processes were so seamless. A contactless serviced apartment that gave full value for money. From the regal airport pickup to the technology mixed with pure art works deployed in the apartment is just pure sterling. The apartment was very well stocked with all appliances and feeding and cleaning necessities even with welcome complimentary cards in each room and a wine. So thoughtful!
Joy, the customer service person was such a sweet, cool headed individual who understands the entire assignment, from her swift response to demands and how she carefully took us through the whole processes even without physical contact was reveling. Thank you Joy!
