Romain & Emi are amazing hosts! This Eco Lodge is tucked away in the foothills of Volcan Mombacho. We stayed in the guest house, which has a kitchen, king size bed, outdoor shower, and is surrounded by nature! There is Wi-Fi, but the connection is so weak, it's useless. There's a connection in the upper house you may use that works occasionally. There's a huge pool that is suitable for swimming laps and is over 8 feet deep! Domain is from Paris and specializes in culinary arts! Definitely go have dinner with him! We highly recommend this place for travelers!

I had a beautiful time here with Romain and Emi, the lodge is clearly a personal dream that they share with guests whole-heartedly. The volcano views from the pool, the monkey sounds in the jungle, the sunrise alarm clock in my tree top suite, and the incredibly delicious and healthy meals were an absolute treat! I will be back!

This place is AWESOME! It's located on the top of hill right in front of volcano Monbacho and you can have such a peaceful time with magnificent nature view! This view is totally priceless. The room is super clean and well designed. You can make yourself even more comfortable with let the breeze go through the room.
The food is also mind blowing! The owners are extremely friendly. We will definitely come back here again. I highly recommend this great ecolodge.

Last summer, we spent a few days at El Respiro and the trip was absolutely delightful. Emy and Romain were perfect hosts and they gave us some wonderful memories during those few days: The walk on the Volcano Mombacho, the monkeys outside the house, the perfect afternoons around the swimming pool, the drinks on the patio facing the lake… Everything was great from the confort to the atmosphere and the cooking was amazing! They also gave us really nice tips on what to do in Granada, the best places to visit, the restaurants to go etc…
We will definitely come back!

It is an eco-friendly hotel, the rooms are very spacious and beautiful with a spectacular view of the Mombacho volcano and its surroundings.

The Ecolodge Respite is one of the best places I've ever visited. Surrounded by nature where all you can hear is the wind. Serviced in immaculate shape by its owners. Without a doubt it is a place that I recommend and hope to return to.

Excellent place, surrounded by nature where you only hear the sound of the wind. It was just what I needed to bewilder myself and rest. Served impeccably and personalized by its owners, who strive to the maximum to make everything go more than well.
