The management of Saxton lodge were brilliant. From the offer of a car to the Anzac biscuits. A great place to stay.

Lovely place to stay. Rooms very clean and spacious. Stayed in the 2 bed apartment and was really impressed with the size of suite. Staff and owner couldn't do enough for us. They even took me to find a hire car and waited while it was being sorted. If I ever venture back to New Zealand (south island) then this would be the place I would stay. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Very comfortable beds and high pressure showers. Have stayed here many times.

One of the newer motels. No cooking facilities in rooms. But very big spacious areas, rooms, lounge, shower etc. Free Wi-Fi.

The room was lovely, clean, comfortable and very spacious. The staff are friendly and went out of their way to help us. The dinner meals are lovely and big portions. We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Plan to come back again.

Its clean and friendly staff, room is very big but very simple. The walls are a bit thin, a little noisy. Bath room is a bit small.

Loved it. They have thought of everything. Our room had a toaster and microwave and the best hot chocolate ever. And toilet spray! I wish I had a bathroom like that at home.

We stayed at Saxton Lodge for 5 days and we thought it was a fantastic base for our family. The rooms are generous, the facilities are clean and well designed, I particularly like the large shower space and endless gas hot water. The beds are super comfortable and the set out and soundproofing excellent. The hosts David and Desma were fabulous, they were friendly helpful and a pleasure to deal with. If you have looking for a great stay right on the main road from Nelson south then this accommodation lodge ticks all the boxes.
