Last Light Lodge Hotel

A group of 5 of us stayed the night before heading to tramp the Humpridge Track last weekend. The food was fantastic and the packed lunches excellent & great value. Super friendly hosts who were very accommodating. Plus fresh preserves to purchase — pickles, jams etc. Delicious Beautiful setting, would highly recommend.

Lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful meals and lovely people. All veges and fruit grown organically on the property. You can even buy their own homemade preserves. Good facilities and a perfect base for doing the Humpridge Trail. Highly recommend this place.

Our favourite stop so far! We are in a campervan and had a powered site. The facilities were definitely ok but there is so much more to recommend this place! A lovely welcome, a great cafe although we didn't eat there, the coffee was awesome and the menu very enticing. If you are a cat lover you will want to stop here, if not, stop here anyway, there are chickens, geese, heaps of veggie patches and orchards. All in all it's quite unique and l can't imagine anyone being disappointed.

Great clean comfortable facilities. Fantastic food; not cheap but absolutely worth it. Andd friendly helpful staff.

Lovely place, super comfy beds, quiet and really nice rural outlook from my window. Lovely bird song. At least three friendly cats and a dog. Cafe is great for brekkie or dinner. Very very good value at $60 a night incl towels, milk and shower.

Fabulous food. Bought eggs jam bread slce. All home made. Great atmosphere. Go there.

The friendly staff, I was allowed to wander the grounds an see where the happy chooks live an produce great eggs for the resterant and I could buy some to take home, the vegie garden is why the food tastes awesome, art work for sale, stayed with a friend there for weeks while house hunting.

The accommodation is basic but clean, confortable and serves the purpose, great value for money. The restaurant and bar has fantastic vibes, warm, welcoming. Staff is very helpful and accommodating and the food very tasty with a great variety. This is Tuatapere little gem, will definitely be back … in fact we went pre and post Hike!

Exceptional food and service — amongst a beautiful setting. Perfect place to stay before and after completing the Hump Ridge Track.

We just attended a 60th here on the weekend and have nothing but praise. Very delicious meals, generous size wines, warm n cosy, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and lovely. We will be back.
