It's decent value budget accommodations. The rooms are simple and do show a bit of wear, but they have the essentials and a helpful staff. It's also well priced. I appreciate the breakfast (even though it's fairly simple), and the Wi-Fi (with good speeds). Parking isn't too terribly once the meters turn off for the day. I'd stay here again (and have).

Horribly mismanaged, seems to be family working for family who want to do everything on the cheap and beat the place like the dead horse it has slowly become.
Don’t stay here if you value peace, comfort or have any self respect. Accor’s budget line of accomodation and it will only stay that way.

Big rooms and very convenient location.

Wow! First I'm in a room that doesn't have hot water in the shower! Luke warm is the best that it got. That's ok, they moved me to another room that did have hot water in the shower. The shower head fitting was unfortunately too high so I, at a lowly 5.6, would have to stand on my tippy toes to get the water lower than the top of my head. Luckily for me the fixture holding it to the shower wall was broken and I could wedge a soap wrapper behind it to angle it down more. Still, it's a shame there is no hot water in the kitchen sink in this unit (which is also broken). I suppose not that many people want to wash dishes anymore. Now I'm sitting doing some laundry writing this because it was the last straw. The washing machines here are very old, there are 3 of them. One is completely out of order. The power point that the other two are plugged into is not working. The receptionist had to get somebody down to look at it and he unplugged the multiboard and plugged it into a plug in the front of the machine, with the lead running over the top of the washer. At a 3 star hotel, I don't expect luxury, a simple room, no fancy extras BUT, I do expect things to be clean, working, in good repair. The Ibis styles fails on this. A smashed piece of art is left on the wall, with a gaping hole in it. The general repair of the place is poor, as more examples the roof in the elevator is half missing and the card doors are not all working properly.

Good comfy beds, but the rooms are slightly dirty. Especially the carpet.

A real gem. Room clean, tidy and quiet. Hotel more than adequate and value for money! Only negative — reception needs a lift and a smile.

Staff were neutral and games room was not well maintained. Breakfast was good.

The staff were friendly and our room looked nice and neat, we only spent one night there BUT the room had a melted plastic smell during our stay and we couldn't fall asleep at all as we were placed on the 4th floor and it was windy outside and as it appears there was something metallic loose on the hotel roof which swang all night and we heard as it was right above our room, also as the rain hit the windows we heard it as if there was something hard banging against our windows but it was just plain rain. We didn't get any sleep that night…

Room was small as was the bathroom. Bit dated and needs a good clean.

Noisy, no aircon, feels dirty and the room smells. I'm in a motel that has higher standards than this. I wouldn't say it's cheap either.

Good value for money. The rooms are small but there is bonus of off street free parking after 6 pm. The service though is below par. I have stayed two times and both times my card key failed to work. Rather than acknowledge my inconvenience, the receptionist behaved as if she was inconvenienced to make me a new card key.

A Well Located and Comfortable Hotel. A cut above most Ibis branded properties.

It is getting a bit dated. But the free breakfast was definitely a bonus.

The staff members are friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The room was clean and nice with plenty of windows; although the view were just the back of buildings. The ensuite was clean and tidy, though having glass door rather than shower curtain will certainly make the shower space much bigger; especially the bottom part of the shower curtain in our ensuite was quite dirty. Breakfast was quite nice, the coffee machines works, and they also have mango juice. The lounge in every floor though looks empty, for us it's not a big deal as we mostly either out and about or resting in our room. The entertainment room is spacious with plenty of stuff to occupy you, though you do need to ask the staff for the key to the movie room. Parking is available on request and with additional cost, though off-street parking is also available.

Tiny cramped rooms. Basic breakfast with 2 coffee machines, neither of which worked. One was eventually fixed but produced very weak coffee, undrinkable. Even though breakfast cost was included, we decided to give it a miss and eat elsewhere.

Great treble room but lounge lacked adequate comfortable sofa seating to function as a lounge.

Value for money and with breakfast too.

Ok for cleanliness of beds. Carpet has a strong musky smell. No toiletries for bathing. Make sure Yiu have your own Breakfast just hot drinks with bread and butter and some yogurt. Paid Street parking. Or $10 per day for hotel parking. View from level 4 of Ibis hotel.

Noisy location. Prime boyracer area. Needs a fresh paint job. Cheapest appliances possible in the rooms.

Nice comfortable room, everything we need is here.

I was a bit worried about my stay because a couple of reviews had been poor. I needn't have worried. Room was clean and comgortable. Breakfast was just continental but very good I thought. Included access to World Gym just a short walk away which I thought was very good. Good value for money I thought. Will definitely stay again.

Their rooms are reasonably okay. There are some design features that are bit dysfunctional such as there being a step into the bath room and constantly triping over it. But its location is great. Everything nearby is walking distance. The customer service you get there is amazing, I had a great experience with it.

Excellent value for the money, very pleasant staff.

Stayed overnight while visiting town and the location was great, right in the middle of town. The price includes a breakfast served in the breakfast room & every guest gets access to free Wi-Fi (got 3Gb of data) which had good coverage throughout the site. Car parking is on-street which may be an issue during the business day but I had no trouble on the weekend.

Only 1/ 2 to bloody noisie.

A great suprise. Went down to Invercargill for a Wedding and 'discovered' LivingSpace. Excellent value for money and friendly service. I wish we had places like this up in the North Island.
