Great location. So handy to town. Rooms were lovely.

Great easy place to stay. A little outdated but spacious rooms with kitchenette. Heated blankets on beds were appreciated. Easy walk to centre of town. Little area outside to sit and eat too.

Very convenient location. Right next to a supermarket.

Don’t waste your time, find another motel. Rooms smelt, building is all wood which creeks (loudly) all night and makes it hard to sleep. Walls are paper thin so we could hear the people next door all night. Heating wasn’t able to be adjusted so it was so hot it made it uncomfortable. Parking is first in best dressed so you may be forced to park on the road or pay for parking elsewhere. Staff were rude when checking in and not very helpful. Wouldn’t go back, worth paying a little more to stay somewhere comfortable!

The lovely lady at the front desk was amazing. I was sick during my stay and she offered to pick some things up for me. The facilities were perfect for being so close to New World. Microwave, kettle, toaster etc. Everything I needed.

Beautiful location. Great food. Not cheap, but good value for money none the less.

Dreadful place it is old tired and sooo run down. The beds came out in the Ark, the bathroom is so small that you can't turn around. Only thing it has going for it is its location.

Clean, basic but with all the essentials. I would recommend staying here if visiting Wanaka.

Nice but a bit expansive.

As others have said the parking is very tight, but the unit was fine and facilities good. The bed was comfortable and despite the motel being close to the centre of Wanaka, noise was not a problem. There were adequate cooking facilities and the room and probably all rooms face the afternoon sun which was pleasant and allowed the room to remain bright. My review ratings try to be consistent and very rarely allocate a 5. Any that I give a 3 rating is good and am happy to stay there again.

As normal for that town it is quite expensive for such a regular room. The room itselfs was outdated but reasonable. The office is announced to be occupied until 8 p. M. Which was not true both nights we have been there. all in all it was ok.

Stayed one night. The room and bathroom are ok and the balcony is perfect for heaving a drink while enjoying the sunset. The staff is very friendly and helped us out with our laundry. Recommend!

Well for a start the room stinks of deodorant which was used to disguise stale cooking odour infused into the room. The room creaks and groans all night in the timbers. And dont think you will be warm, the heater is that noisy you will never sleep, there are 4 channels on the tv, carpet is very old and worn as is the mattress. Pub goers shouting on the street and super market traffic. If you have to stay here get a down stairs room, its quieter. I have stayed here twice. Not again.

Have stayed a couple of times when in Wanaka very friendly good value, intend to use again when in Wanaka on our next trip to NZ.

Good value for money. Beside supermarket. Walking, you are in the town centre. Wooden interrior is warm and makes you feel like you are on a ski holiday, ski racks by front door of room for security.
