Friendly front office staff.

We were not very pleased with the hotel. The carpet in reception needs an update, looked like it’s been their for decades. It had a lack of kitchen equipment such as toaster and cutlery, so I was unable to make my own breakfast, I made sandwiches and had to butter my bread with a spoon. The window sills were dusty and had dead bugs all over them. The air hockey was missing a puck so we left it on and got a refund. It looked so much nicer online was not worth $600 let alone $800 which we were going to pay till we saw the special. The staff were polite and friendly, my only positive.

After making a booking which reads as though dinner is included on grabone. Arrived to find out it isn’t and the spa that we were expecting to use was unavailable for the whole duration of the stay.

The staff really look after you here, so helpful, always smiling and always go out of their way to help, highly recommended.

Very secured and designed hotel with attached bowling alley, a restaurant and free shuttle to down town-Queenstown. We had a nice comfortable stay with easy access to all adventures.

Recomanded… Facilities and service is good For family.

Awesome place but should be more better if you can provide a microwave or a shared kitchen area.

Location was awesome and facilities exceeded my expectations and worth for every penny spent. People at reception were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again if I ever go to NZ again.

We got a grabone deal which included breakfast during sept at a good accommodation price. Lovely staff service and great complimentary shuttle service to town and coronet peak. Didn't bother use the spa tub though. Also enjoyed a free game of bowling.

My partner and I stayed here during the weekend. The service here was unbelievable. Thank you so much for making our stay here feel like home. The shuttle service was awesome and easy to get us to and from town. We did not get a chance to try the restaurant, bar or the bowling alley but will try it next time we visit. Highly recommended. Very good value, clean spacious and warm. Away from centre of Queenstown but not too far. Lovely place thoroughly enjoyed.

Such lovely staff and very nice rooms and service. Location is nice as is very scenic and only a short trip into town. Would stay again.

The best part about the stay was the staff rather than the actual hotel. Lovely attitudes and they helped so much throughout the trip. The hotel itself wasn't grand but worth the money.

We stayed 1 night as a couple. Very convenient stay. They hace some good facilities, laundry etc. Also a bowling alley for lolz. Very large room for a cheap price that is well equipped. We payed $90 for the stay. Very happy, will stay again.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable with nice warm beds. Basic facilities like a microwave and a sky connection is not available. Would recommend the management to look into these, being in New Zealand you would want a microwave to heat up your food and watch your sport but unfortunately did not.

I recently came to your restaurant as part of a group celebrating a reunion on Easter Saturday. We were a group of about 30 and had all travelled from far and wide, brought together by one of the local girls who had taken it upon herself to organise events and dinner for us all. I know that I wasn't the only one who was disappointed with the meal that was served for us and also that there seemed to be only 2 people on duty. The food kept running out and we had to wait for more… it was also poorly presented and looked unappealing! Further to that the evening was cut short and we had to leave by 10pm. Our get-together was spoilt by the poor food and service and what seemed to be the managers decision to cut the evening off earlier than what had been promised. We wont be back!

A little run down out front but the rooms are fine… fridge is only slightly cooler than the room, beds comfortable.

Everything was fine except walls are thin like paper, you can hear someone fart in the other room.

Good place to go to in the summer when the queenstown cost is to high. But it feels low quality and I don't look forward to staying in this place at night. But if you have a family or are a group of people this is perfect for a 2 night stay.

Really good for the price fast internet and helpful staff and free shuttles from and to centrum of Queenstown. I ate breakfast in town and did not try it at the hotel. Nice to have a bathtub :)

Highly recommend the meals they have at the restaurant, no hesitation in catering for my gluten-free diet. Comfortable private room would definitely stay again.

Great location to Coronet Ski Field and out of Queenstown so its quiet and peacefully positioned.

Interior decoration of room is old with TV of at least 20 years ago. We stayed for 3 nights without changing the towels by the hotel. Location not good as it takes 10 drive to downtown. Better not to book it unless you cannot find one with similar price.

Nice unit looks like they are remodeling. Nice 24/7 staff but internet is, while free, very slow.

They are currently going through some renovations. I have stayed in an outdated room and a renovated one. And I'm please about the newer rooms. The swiss-belresort still needs a major facelift but the newly renovated rooms was very nice especially compared to the 20/30 year old rooms. The shuttle down to Queenstown was very convenient. The Wi-Fi was very slow.

Warm welcomed when check in by Janice, good service by Angle of restaurant. Large room, clean and tidy. Value for money! Will recommend to our friends to stay here when visit Queenstown in the near future!

Reasonable rates. Rubbish menu. Shower has a good in the wall where the mixer has been changed.

This hotel is cheap in price but as good as any other hotel.

Needs a refurbishment. Some rooms done, and nice and spacious. Breakfast cool, wine list basic, dinner menu ok at best. Huge room for improvement.

Great hospitality service, the staffs are very accomodating and always servicing with a smile. The hotel needs some renovation but seems that they are working on it. Keep it up! Great job guys!

Hotel is old and dirty. Things were broken. The washroom door handle is broken. My room smell like smoke. Our room is super hot. Got spider web on the window. The only nice things there is the staff. They are very friendly and kind.

Totally run down. Beautiful outside and ugly inside. If you want to film horror movie, or you are a skier who does not care where to stay as long as its warm — then this place for you, otherwise stay somewhere else. Breakfast was bad. Sauna and spa do not work, and that area is under construction. Only pros were friendly staff and ten-pin bowling in the complex.

Very quiet and out of the way.

Stayed for two nights. Most facilities were very old including CRT TV (huge old TV which I cannot see thesedays). The lady at the reception was very very rude even if I asked something very nicely. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use this hotel.

Good service + hospitality. Food at restaurant was affordable and tasty (dinner). Room was overall not bad but too warm at night — small fan in room didn't do much.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation in Queenstown. It was very clean (the cleaners were amazing), well presented and the staff (particularly the waitresses) were so friendly and helpful. I encounted the best service I have ever had in any accomodation setting, so in my opinion that deserves 5stars in itself. This hotel is incredible value for money, they also include a courtesy shuttle service to take you to and from the town centre daily, and their electric blankets make it hard to get up every morning. The games room and bowling alley were a hit with our family. I had also read raving reviews about their amazing buffet breakfast and boy were they right about that. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will most definitely be returning and recommending to all my friends and family.

Have stayed in a few hotels now and this one is by far the worst we have stayed at. We actually live in Queenstown and every now and then we like to treat ourselves… we picked up a deal on GrabOne for $99 which we thought was a deal but after staying there I felt completely ripped off. The room was so dated the bathroom wasn't clean and had mould in the grouting of the tiles. The bathroom floor was wet, as soon as we got into the room I went to the bathroom and got wet socks and whenever we flushed the toilet it had a nasty sewage smell. We could only get 2 TV channels and that was after my partner had to tune the TV to get those 2 channels. We ended up spending more time out of the room than in it. There was no information in the room such as a phone number to call reception, what time the restaurant is open, when breakfast is… nothing. Restaurant / breakfast area looks like it hasn’t been changed since the place was built, carpet was stained and looked filthy. Very disappointing and he fact it's rated a 4.5 start rating completely shocks me. Recently stayed in a budget hotel in Auckland for $70 and it bet this hotel by a LONG shot! And just to top it off, because we had a debit card not a credit card they said they had to take out $50 for a bond and it will be given back at check out. When we checked out I asked about the bond and was told it would be released back into my account.
