Spectacular views with a contemporary welcoming vibe. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The catering, set up and service for my daughter's wedding was spot on.

Had the opportunity to stay over the weekend and the entire experience was simply amazing. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating. They couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. The facility was well appointed and room was fabulous with amazing lake views. Highly recommend and we will certainly be back again. A++++

Was highly disappointed when we went to stay here. Unless your booking their most expensive rooms your view will be looking out the back of the property into the neighbours balcony. Not what the photos suggested at all. And there standard rooms are smaller than all the other hotels in Queenstown offering similar services. Hot tubs are a bit of a let down too as you can see into the neighbours windows, so doesn’t feel very private. We had a really lovely meal at the restaurant though would recommend trying there. Had booked as our honeymoon but left after one night as it wasn’t value for money and miss leading from photos.

Amazing place to stay. Great views, modern rooms but the best part of it all is the staff. The resturant is top notch too. The Govt imposed a level 4 lockdown whilst we stayed at Kāmana and the good service kept on. Awesome breakfast, lunch and dinner continued to get provided and they made everything easy in what was stressful times. Would reconmend to everyone to stay here and will be back in the future.

Everything about Kamana was absolutely beautiful — the grounds, the main building, our room and the staff. They treated us well, nothing was a bother, were friendly and inviting and took the very best care of us once the lockdown was announced, right down to an impeccable delivered breakfast and espresso coffee. They made the last day of our stay and our checkout process amongst L4 seamless — so much so that we could still enjoy the day even if we were confined to our room. We will recommend Kamana to everyone and most likely never stay anywhere else in QT ever again. Absolute 5 star flawless experience.

Front desk staffs are wonderful and helpful 👍🏼 The view is a million dollar worth and majestic 👌🏼 One of the best view in Queenstown. Kamana soak is a must do, the whole family enjoyed the hot tub! It was spotlessly clean. We booked the spa which had such an incredible view. I think the lake view room is worth it too. The staff were all very warm and accomodating.
I would recommend it for an adults weekend away and I would definitely go again.

Amazing views from the Tahuna Lakeview room. Their hot tubs are well worth a visit (so much better than Onsen Hot Pools). The staff were lovely and super helpful, — 4° every morning and our landcruiser was covered in ice. The concierge helped defrost our car before we'd leave for the days adventure.

Beautiful stay at the Kamana, what a fantastic and intimate space with some really thoughtful touches. We had an amazing stay here and the staff were amazing! Will defiantly be back, thank you so so much!

Fabulous modern room. Awesomely comfortable king size bed. Welcoming and helpful staff.

A lot of the rooms front onto a car park, which makes a lot of noise, as do guests. The rooms appear to have very little sound proofing and I had to complain three times, having allowed noisy neighbours 15-20 minutes to settle down after midnight. I contacted reception o three separate occasions between 00.23 and 01.00, and finally the noise abated after 01.10. Having had to get up the following day at 06.00 for the Milford Sound trip, I asked reception before departure to evict the noisy customers. No record of this request was made and on my return to the hotel at 20.45 further discussions took place about the motels, it is not a hotel, procedures and policies. I await a meeting with the general manager tomorrow at 9am, hopefully after a good nights sleep. Noisy residents should be evicted after ignoring a second, let a lone a third request!

The staff members make the stay so much better. They do everything they can to make your stay better. The food is quite good. The decor is comfortable as are the rooms. The views are unparalleled. We love this place.

Great staff. Lovely place to stay.

Staff made us feel so welcome from the get go. In and out of the hotel they made sure our need were met. I would highly recommend Kamana for when anyone is visiting Queenstown. Where Kamana is situated, buses are very handy to get to as no from Queenstown. No stress at all. Very clean and well set out. The renovations when completed will make this lovely place even more fun and relaxing to visit. The lakeside views are to die for. Highly recommended.

Good, clean rooms with an amazing view! Nice big bed and great amenities. The breakfast was mediocre, food selection was limited and a lot of the foods that were meant to be warm were cold and the foods that were meant to be cold were warm. It's a shame that while we were staying there were renovations occuring. The only issue I had was the behaviour of the tradies/workers outside the hotel. They took up all of the parking spots and were quite rude/swore a lot. I understand renovations are inevitable but a few times we drove to the hotel and couldn't find a spot inside the carpark. Other than that the staff inside the hotel were really friendly.

It is under renovation and we have been given the renovated views and are very nice. Good bathroom, spacious and with terrace.
At reception they were very friendly and recommended activities and restaurants.
It's 45 minutes from the town but there are buses and taxis so fine.
The breakfast was very good.

Great shower and great comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful reception staff, nice view. Bit limited in food options as they are renovating. 180NZD a night, in comparison to other places in NZ it's a fair price, as everything in NZ costs a lot now days.

Room was large and well furnished. But the whole place is undergoing renovation/construction, and is quite far away from town (2.5km). A one-way bus trip costs 5 NZD. Staff said our room has a good view but there was no view. Would have been a better experience if we were allowed to have a late checkout.

The hotel staff were pretty nice. I stayed at the older one across the carpark and it was rather spacious! It has almost everything you need. My friend who stayed at the newer wing (lakeview) swore by the view. The only downside for both of us was the lack of parking lots… We had to park outside at the main street in the end.

The hotel is old, but clean and cozy. Stands on the mountain and the views are very scenic. Walk to the center about 30 min. The bus stop is close by, very convenient. The staff is friendly. I liked it. The price is democratic compared to the city center.

Needs money spent on it! Google says it's 40 mins walk to here from town but it's up steep hill and is more likely to take 60 minutes to walk as a car takes 10 minutes. The water pressure in the shower is about the same as when it's raining and the heat has to be all the way up to get some warmth out of it. The rooms need to be updated. The bathroom windows do not close so you get a draft and the noise of cars going by in the night. Free Wi-Fi at the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The fire in the bar dining area is nice and will. Be good during the winter. The outside viewing seats are not suitable for anyone in wheelchair or with walking difficulties as the surface is very uneven. There is a great view here tho.

Very basic accommodation. No budging on any extra time for check out even mid week. Quite a way to town. The breakfast in their restraunt was great and since we are told to go early as it gets too busy to get in we did and got a view of sunrise.

Beautifully located hotel just outside of Queenstown. Many rooms have mountain and lake views we were lucky to have fresh snowy mountains. The rooms are very modern and the food in the restaurant excellent.

Aspen hotel has been a great place to stay. The view from our room is beautiful! The room is spacious and the bathroom is newly redone. The food/drinks are good at the restaurant inside of the hotel. The staff has been helpful with planning our route into town.

Great hotel staff and food. The view is the best part take your coffee out on the deck and enjoy the view from the top of the hill.

Room was clean, view from both room and restaurant were stunning too. Breakfast was of a nice variety, and constantly refreshed.

We got a room with a view over the lake and the view was stunning. They offered us an upgrade for 50$ since it was our honeymoon (true to be said, in any other in Australia they gave us the upgrade for free as honeymooners). The food at the restaurant was ok and not crazily expensive. There's a bus that takes you into the center in less than 10 minutes, otherwise it's quite a walk downtown. The room was great, good beds, great bathroom, clean and modern.

There a lot of bettet options than the Aspen in Queenstown, trust me, I have stayed in them all, often. There a few nicely decorated rooms in the main building but the rest have had a dulux overhaul at best. Hard beds, poor shower water pressure and uninterested reception staff makes for a less than ideal stay. The only saving grace is the view from the dining room and the pleasant waitresses.

3.5 stars. Would stay here again. Great desk staff. Room was Clean when we arrived. Room was quite warm which should be great in winter. Our room didn't have air con so personal comfort wasn't the greatest but they do have rooms with Air con if you pay more. Can only rate the experience we had which was above average but not amazing or exceptional and can rate halves so 3 stars.

Super nice hotel with great views depending on what room you get. But the restaurant gets a complete view of the mountains over the lake. Didn't have enough parking for one night but it was ok as we just parked on the main street. Woke up surprised one morning to find it snowed which made for great photos over the rooftops. If you get the shuttle bus make sure you fully wave down the driver as the driver didn't notice us standing outside waving. We just drove into town anyway but it was a bit of a hassle. Either way nice staff and nicer rooms.

The lakeview rooms have just been renovated and look stunning but it all does not compare to the amazing views of the lake and the mountains. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, breakfast was good and the restaurant and bar have the same stunning views as the room! I would definately recommend staying here when you visit Queenstown.

Restaurant was nice but expensive. Pool and spa that we booked the hotel for was closed. Internet is 1gh per room and vanished without us using it. Has potential but is let down.

Nearly electrocuted with a faulty wall socket. Shower wall had a rotten hole in it. Door was broken. Spoke to staff who had no interest in our concerns, said sorry but the renovations haven't started yet.

As a frequent traveller I can say I think the value from this establishment is fair. Service desk was very helpful and the price was ok.

Fantastic service and very kind staff! The rooms were very clean and tidy. The breakfast is really good especially with the view! A really fantastic place to stay. I would recommend.

The bar service is AMAZING! Great service, food, drinks and best view in queenstown.
