We stayed for 3 days over Queens Birthday weekend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room was comfortable and clean with lovely linen, and the view was tranquil.
The motel is close to dining, coffee and activity options. The hosts Trev and Erica were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended.

A lovely place to relax with a wine and cheeses over looking the little creek that sits at the back of your room. Owners are very accommodating and ensure your happy with your accommodation and facilities. Highly recommend.

My wife and I checked in her today and loved it immediately, so friendly and helpful, the rooms are spotless and spacious, a 15 minute walk into town is all it takes, I would recommend the La Rochelle Motel to any of my friends travelling here…

This motel is a little gem. The owners have got it sooooo right, from the cleanliness, position, friendliness, heated towel rack, Wi-Fi, right down to the last glass

At the edge of the town. Very quiet, very clean. Small balcony facing a stream. Nice amenities. Would definitely recommend.

No aircon and a very warm day. Perhaps a fan in the room for such occasions would be a good idea. No screens and a few bites on my arm overnight as we had to have the window ajar for some air.

Great place to stay in Akaroa, clean modern rooms with everything that you need. Staff were friendly and attentive. Location is perfect just out of what can be a mad busy little town but a 1 min walk to the centre.

Located on the edge of downtown Acaro, very quiet, clean and tidy rooms. We strolled along the coastline for a kilometer to the Docklands, with French-style street views along the route, in short-on the right.

Super friendly, clean lovely rooms, great garden view, comfy beds. 5 stars all round!

Quiet off the street close to Akaroa, s shops and very nice hosts book ahead in peak season.

Very friendly and helpful. The room was cosy warm even though the weather was cold and damp. We definitely recommend this motel. I was part of the Comte de Paris landing re-enactment so fond memories of our stay in Akaroa. A mirror in the main room please.

Comfortable room with kitchen, located beside a little stream, modern and clean toilette, and overall great hosts that helped us with our trip planning, very friendly place to be.

Friendly staff, clean tidy room (room 2). Bed seemed a bit on the soft side for me but fine for only one night. Bathroom a little pokey but modern and clean. Nice outlook with flowing creek out the back.

Right from the moment we arrived till we departed we felt at home, never an interruption to their day and with such a warm kiwi welcome we knew we had chosen the best place to stay! (We had friends who stayed somewhere else that literally charged them if they didn't do the dishes lol)! Free Wi-Fi was a great bonus, lovely little courtyards overlooking a small Creek was so serene and we just felt so relaxed! Not one thing I could fault about this place, I take my hat off to you and all your staff and we can't wait to return! 5 STARS.
