Well located, great view, with parking, good value and great staff.

Room very small and the bed as well. Breakfast for European conditions very little and additional food expensive.

Worst bed ever experienced; the bathroom layout was terrible and unthoughtful.
Staff were warm but need to be well trained for the role.
Overall I will not personally stay with this one again.

Room nice had a street view, nice an central but only here for 2days, food was lovely tjis morning better than I excpected, we did have a hire car but took it back a day early which cost us money in uber back but didn't really want to feed meter outside every 2hrs, Wellington is nice but been an dont think ill rush back, off to south Island Tommorow. Auckland has a lot more to see n do, Deby Liverpool England.

Very good location, convenient room size and equipped with all the tools required. Staff is very helpful. The breakfast at their restaurant "Sterling" is excellent. Located near the train station and the ferry as well as the main city attractions.

Very disappointed with this hotel as we were on the floor just above the restaurant overlooking air conditioning units and extraction pipes for the restaurant, not only that all we could smell in our room was woodfire cooking seeping through the windows from the extraction pipe. Pretty piss poor for a hotel like this.

The room was really nice as were the staff but I have to say for a 6 person room the bathroom was far too small and needed a window. also the rubbish bin for that many people was too small But over all I really liked it and will stay there again.

Business travel at time when they had a flooding incident in the morning. The lifts were flooded and we had to evacuate in the middle of breakfast. However the incident was managed well and had one lift working by the time we came back in the evening.

Lovely for a staycation — even got a room with a view straight towards the harbour. Breakfast on a Sunday morning a little busy but delicious once it arrived and was easy with our included breakfast rate. Room was well equipped — a better hairdryer would have been nice though.

A new and modern hotel. Service is friendly and the hotel well organized/run. I stayed in three different rooms during my stay and all were the same in quality — high. The only criticism I have is minor — there is next to no storage for personal bathroom items, storage for clothes is limited to hanger space only in the last room I stayed and the TV size in the last room I stayed in was a bit too small to watch movies, but adequate if all you wanted was to watch the news or shows. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, but you also pay a pretty penny for that. The wine list showcased some very nice examples from NZ regions, but again you can expect to pay top dollar for that. All up, a very good hotel to stay for a day or two, but if you stay longer, be sure to ask for a room with storage for your clothes unless you want to live out of a suitcase.

The room we had was rather small however they were adequate for a short stay. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. If you require parking I'd recommend booking in advance as it fills quickly. The fact it has 2 entrances (Terrace and Lambton Quay) is pretty handy.

Staff are rude. Could not get a drink in the house bar after 9.35pm on a Thursday night as they wanted to close up. Rooms very average. For the price it's disappointing.

This place gets massive traction out of the simplicity of mid-century modernist styling. Chic and cheap… ish. I love it.

Lovely comfortable hotel. I was ill and so used room service for dinner and breakfast. All staff were friendly and helpful. Bed and room was modern and really well equipped. Great location on the Terrace.

Nice hotel. Entry off 2streets. Friendly helpful staff. Very large room, bathroom a little small though. Clean and very quiet. Have to pay to park.

Reception desk very helpful with enquirers.
Restaurant staff at breakfast also helped with bus stop information.
Two entries one for the reception restaurant area but take the lift downstairs too shopping area and buses.
Bus stop across the road for the airport. Run to the airport was excellent.
Bathroom small but overall would stay here again.

This plaec is good to stay with family. I cooked for my kids. And stay comfortable. Wellington has not enough place to stay. If you want come here you should make reservations earlier.

Stayed here over Christmas/New Year 2017/2018, Great location, loved the easy walk to the shops and wharf area, if not for our travel agent booking it, I would not have chosen it! it was like trying to pull teeth to get a second room card! room not nice at all, our room looked out over the kitchen extraction fans, terrible smell in the room the whole time, even with the windows closed, hence I could not stomach eating there : (we were charged for something from the mini bar, which we did not consume and I am still waiting to be reimbursed for it! We had a hire car from Auckland, due to NO PARKING provisions onsite, we took the car back early, without being credited, who wants to park on the street and have to go and feed the meter every two hours!

Very clean in a convenient location. There are 2 entrances. If you can't find parking, street parking is free after 6pm. Rooms are very modern and well kept. Felt right at home.

We made a booking in October (staying in January) and within that booking requested a carpark. We mountain bike and store an expensive amount of equipment in our car which is why we requested it. Under 12 hours before we were due to arrive we received a unhelpful email advising us that there are no carparks and they will provide us with alternative options on arrival. This wasn’t acceptable at such short notice so we went back to the hotel. With no response. We ended up foregoing our booking as we needed somewhere secure for our car. 2 days later we had still received no response from the hotel. Having now just received a blunt, unhelpful reply saying no refund will be given. Appalling service, no apology and quite upsetting actually as we had driven 12 hours to be there. Not acceptable and really quite disappointing.

Quiet location, friendly staff and clean with a good restaurant. I'm not giving full stars as the room was small and the bathroom tiny and unventilated with poor fan. And also despite an email and a follow up phone call to secure a parking spot we had no confirmation or anyone come back to us. They did accommodate a space on the condition that would be blocked in behind the managers car and despite not being able to use it as a functional space charged us in full. The stay was fine but I'd probably try somewhere else next time.

Very well presented rooms, we stayed on a 3 bedroom suite with kitchenette. Very modern and elegant. Very well kept and clean. Only downside was it room being too hot and stuffy. The aircon unit did not provide adequate cooling and the bedrooms in our suite had no ventilation, making for a rather restless sleep. I will not recommend starting here during the summer months.

The hotel is very central to the CBD, with access from both The Terrace and Lampton Quay. The rooms are kept clean and tidy, and are of a good standard. The Wi-Fi is OK but not great however, could be difficult to work remotely over.

Great hotel close to everything, can walk to all the sights. Comfy bed and pillows. Love having a kitchenette and restaurant has great food too. Definitely recommend staying here.

Location is quite Central. Close to a lot of shops and places to eat. Very friendly staff. Room is a little smaller than what I'm used to in North America, but it's fine for just me.

Missed my expectations but then I am a business traveller and stay at nice hotels. Small room, bathroom fan not working, hotel restaurant is pretty basic. Breakfast not good at all and poor coffee. I will not be back.

They have almost no parking, the staff is unfriendly and unaccomadating. For the high price, Rooms are tiny, bed barely fits in room, bathroom sink is tiny (think prison cell). Old and outdated, stay away as there are many much better choices in the area.

Quiet and clean rooms. Stayed on 12th floor. Hotel is in a geat location. Shops, cafes, grocery store, and restaurants close by. Very good restaurant on the third floor, however, don't expect the same quality of food for room service after the restaurant is closed. I ordered the angus burger at 8pm and it was obvious it was not made by a chef. The burger was overcooked and the buns burnt. Fries were ok. The cost of room service food is a few dollars more with an additional $5NZD delivery charge. Don't order room service at night.

Only issue iv had so far is the Wi-Fi has been playing up but just need to contact reception and they sort it out nice and easy, will happily stay here again in the future.

Excellent one week stay in this hotel in middle of the CBD. Well done the staff and the management. Keep the good work going.

Awesome restaurant. Staff are very professional. I ate here all week and tried most of the menu. My two picks are the Angus eye fillet — one of the best steaks ever. And the lamb shoulder is delicious. If you want something different try the bone marrow entree.

While the room was nice and the Hotel is in a great location, the fact that it took a week and a half to release the $600+ "hold" on my mother's credit card is not ok! To be told upon check in that the amount is just a hold and will be released upon checkout (if we wanted to pay separately) but for it then to not be released until much later is poor service. If this is standard then your staff need to be better informed so they can give guests the correct information!

Rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable with good bedding and seating areas. Location is fantastic. 5 min walk from the Wellington cablecar. However on our second night there were construction / drilling sounds in the area around the hotel — part and parcel of being in a city.

Great hotel situated in the heart of Wellington. Walking down the street, situated between Farmers and Unichem Pharmacy, is the entrance to the hotel. You could easily miss it If you didn't know it was there (see photo). Very clean rooms, well maintained. Excellent service.

I hadn't expected much and was really pleasantly surprised. So much so I made the effort to write a review which I rarely do. Reception was easy and efficient. My room is large and well laid out, with a great space for working and a well put together kitchenette. Nice new decor, an uncluttered feel and everything is very clean. Really impressed and will make a point of staying again next time I'm in town. Very surprised to see some low ratings from others on here but the reasons are basic, eg. Parking in central Welly will always be a logistic nightmare.

The only place in NZ where we felt a bit low. Hotel staff could be a bit more friendly and helpful. Parking logistics is a mess. You have to call someone from front desk everytime you want to park or drive out and still pay 25$ for it. Hotel staff was not explaining us how public parking at the roads work. Rooms are clean and well kept. But expected a bit more from this place as it has the potential.
