We had a great with extended family at the Holiday park. Kids loved the spa pool in the evening. Super close to the caves and other local attractions. Highly recommend.

Loved our stay here in cabin 11. We all enjoyed the hot tub, swimming pool, outdoor table tennis, trikes to cruise around on, comfortable beds & crisp linen, close to restaurant and cafe, and other activities.

I was unhappy with my stay at this campsite. Firstly I was unable to find a map of the site online to choose where to book which is vital to me as I am unable to walk far or uphill for facility use. This was a disaster once we arrived as the entire area for tents is on a big hill with the facilities at the top… the furthest point away is easy 1km so imagine been stuck back there and having to make that huge hike! there is no tree shelter available across most of the tent area so it also makes it unbearable in middle of summer. I was not impressed that we were spoken to at 9pm on Saturday night and told to be quiet (quiet time doesnt begin till 10) and were then spoken too by the owner later again that night (even though there were plenty of other larger and louder groups than us on site) my mum was then yelled at again in the bathroom from the owner and told "will you shut up I am sick of being able to hear you… " in front of many other campers who were all joining in and having a laugh and sing with mum and my mate in the bathrooms. We were unable to use the pool because someone had vomited in it and it was only open till 9pm (yes even during summer! ). The area is great and there is lots to explore which unfortunately is not broadcast on their website either. I will not be returning to this campground and am very shocked that they can call themselves a top 10!

Awesome location across from the cave tours, stores & museum. Parked our motorhome impressed with the very clean bathroom facilities, & helpful staff. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Waitomo.

Stayed one night in a motor home. We have had trouble with the camper and the staff at reception couldn't help us enough. The park and facilities (showers and toilets) were tip top. The bbq area and the TV room were spotless and very comfortable. If ever we are over this way again we would not hesitate to stay here.

Perfect place to visit the Waitomo Caves. Facilities are almost new and well maintained. However, we were located next to a old caravan that was used for living. Was not expecting this in this caravan park.

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at Waitomo Top 10. We are members and always find the parks to be immaculate and this is no exception. The facilities are well looked after and so shiny and clean. The grounds and pool are immaculate and are very safe for young children.
We stayed in the motel part. Rooms were well equipped and very clean. Furniture and cupboards are looking a bit old and tired, but this is reflected in the price.
In have stayed here twice now and will certainly stay again

Very well presented little caravan park. Facilities are clean and well kept. Great little spot for spending the night but not for any length of time. There is a lot to do in and around the Waitomo caves but not enough to spend more than two days. The cabins are literally just a room with a couple of beds and a sink. But good enough for a roof over your head for the night. Would certainly return when the kids are older and we can do more activities in and around the area.

Had lunch at the Huhu situated at Waitomo. Lovely scenery and the food there was excellent. Staff very friendly.

We booked ahead so we had a nice flat patch to park our camper van on. The receptionist was super nice and helped us find tickets to the Glowworm caves as soon as we arrived because it was all booked up the next day. Great facilities, warm showers, full kitchen.

We stayed just for one night and we arrived pretty late still, even though the reception was closed, they left a note for us with all the details we needed. That was very kind, thank you. The facilities in the campsite are in excellent conditions. We're definitely coming back.

Kitchen a fair bit but the rest of the facilities are perfect.

Really nice holiday park with easy walk to glowworm caves (600 metres). Excellent amenities and great reception too. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night.

In this holiday park you could feel at home, if there were not the extremely slow internet. It is a beautiful park with nice camping atmosphere.

Chalet 5 people very pleasant, clean and quiet. Very friendly and the pool too. I recommend.

We would highly recommend this place, as most Top Tens the grounds and facilities are well taken care of. It is close to the Waitamo caves and many cafes and restaurants. We stayed in a 2 Bedroom unit and it was very comfortable. We did find the bunk beds on the small side for our 2 teenagers. We did find it hot and would have preferred an air conditioner in the room. But overall a great place to stay.

Very well organized and clean places, incl. Of sanitary facilities. Great comfort for both big and small guests.

Open, spacious feel. Two-bedroom motel unit had lovely view, decor was modern, it was clean and fresh and had everything we needed and more (fan, clothes airer, iron). The kids loved the pool and hot pool.

We overnighted here on our way home. We had our camper van towing a boat, they found us a wonderful large site so we didn't have to un hook the boat. Lovely holiday park. Very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Plus a very inviting pool and hot tub. This is a great place to stay and would highly recommend.

Really great prices and amenities, we came in too late and the reception was closed but they had prepared instructions and the cabin for us. They were really nice when checking out as well.

We had a great tentside. Kitchen and facilities were in excellent conditions. Staff was very friendly. There are cafes/restaurants around the holiday park and the waitomo cave is just a 5 minutes walk away. Great to avoid the parking lines at the cave, from where you also walk 5 min.

Awesome camping ground — best shower ever, better than home plenty of things to keep kids busy too. Love to come back.

This place is incredible. It's a mixed bag of places to rent, from primitive campsites all the way up to fully equipped individual suites. And they're all intermingled so it promotes hanging out with people you otherwise wouldn't. I'm staying in an individual flat right now and I must say it's a cut above what you would expect for the price point. Rooms are clean and well furnished (kitchen included), the staff is friendly and very accommodating, and the location is perfect if you're trying to do anything in the glow worm caves. The top 10 holiday park are a chain in NZ, and in the future I'm going to search these out over other options due to the value for the money.

Good place to stay the night if you've been to the glow worms and visited the other 2 caves. You can book tickets to the Hobbiton movie set tour here as well even though it's sold out online, that's what we did. There's a majestic waterfall and a natural bridge 35 mins away… must see if you're in the area.

Room relatively expensive, Wi-Fi Limited.
All in all OK, but we had better places for less money in NZ.

Clean and tidy … big fields for the kids to run around, pool area could do with some lighting when it gets dark … otherwise great place to stay …

A good campsite with good facilities in close proximity to local attractions and a number of bars and restaurants. Quite a busy campsite even in early spring but we'll kept campsite to stop at. Seemed popular with youngsters and travellers.

Lovely caravan park with clean facilities and a great pool and spa. Service was great and having an area to congregate at night was fantastic. Highly recommend, even for large groups.

Great place, really clean, beautiful spot. Only recommendation would be to have a little store or vending machine on site. The General store closes around 3:30pm and then the closest supermarket is 16km away!

Still very good top 10 Holiday park! Staff were super helpful and wonderful service, facilities were super clean and a great location.

My grandson and I visited the Waitomo Holiday park and on the last day I left my necklace in the shower. We were far down the road when I realized it. I called back and spoke with Sally who was kind enough to check the shower and found it! She generously sent it to me at my friend's home in Okura and I cannot say how important it was to be reunited with it. Sally you are the best! You deserve a raise! Mona Smth.

Very harsh! Accidental booking incorrect date, turned up day before, advided by Lynda cancelled, 3rd party booking site, understand if small charge to me and would accept but to take 75% of money, con artists money grabbers, understand a small charge to me (advised 25% charge) on resale room and I know it must of been sold next day as place booked up on checking! — will not ever stay and recommend your place hope karma get back at your business!

We slept in a cabin which had decent amenities although it was relatively small. They do have laundry, kitchen and a swimming pool. 100mb Internet access is provided for each device though you can purchase more if needed.

7 bed room for $95, bargain! Super super clean too!

Nice site but pricy at $80 (2adults 2kids) have stayed at much nicer ones for much less. seems to capture the tourists to waitomo and fleeces them a bit more.

Very clean. Sides are small. Too less showers/ toilets.

Very rude staff. We wanted to fill up water in our campervan. The petrol sations do it for free. The worker here wanted us to pay the full night rate of $48.
