Great little motel with everything you will ever need including off street parking… awesome host's! Kunio is also a fishing guide if you feel like a flick on the world famous Tongariro River.

We have been coming here for many years … It's close to town … Always clean and tidy … Taupo is our home away from home.

We arrived to a wet and cold Taupo weather welcome, but the reception here at the motel help to lighten the mood and immediately felt at home. They know their stuff, recommending great local restaurants and cafes, with contact details and popularity to know if we should book a table or not. Rooms are clean, bright and cosy. Well laid out furnishings, convenient well equipped kitchenette, cosy lounge and spacious enough rooms. Haven’t seen outside yet because it’s been rainout the entire day but hopefully might clear up tomorrow for us to explore the motel and Taupo.

Very good room, upper level has Brill view of Lake. Walkable to town center and restaurants. Excellent value.

The best place to stay in Taupo, lovely service, nice selection of rooms, great pricing and they leave your Air Conditioning on!

Great older style accommodations but very clean and well looked after, friendly staff and the best beds in town wouldn't go anywhere else top this off with great views of the lake.

Good place, friendly owners, facilities are good though can be improved like mattresses needs to be replaced.

Exactly what is needed at a fair price. While it's in the metropolis and close to everything, it is a nice, clean and very importantly, a quiet place. The hosts are great and very welcoming. It's not the flashest of places, but it's obvious the owners have spent time and money on it, so it's well worth a stay.

This motor inn is very clean and tidy with their hot tub in the morning. Also near with taupo lake even we can go there by walking. The facilities are also nice such as Wi-Fi and room service. What an fantastic motor in to stay. Hope that I could stay there for holiday again. Thanks nz.

Very clean and tidy apartment, with a fully equipped kitchenette. Will probably stay here again next time in Taupo.

Great staff with this place being in the perfect location. Went to a concert while staying here and it's an easy walk into town.

Great accommodation, clean, modern and comfortable. Super shower and room service. Walking distance to the Lake and short walk or drive to Town Centre.

As other reviewer mentioned, the room matched the photos in the brochure. We booked a 2 bedroom family unit and found everything modern and clean. Laundry was $2, Wi-Fi was free, and room cost was reasonable. 15 minutes walk from town centre and restaurants, and even closer to the lake. We would definitely stay here again.
