Terrible & rude owners. Phoned 2 minutes before & confirmed reservation only to be told when arrived was booked out online. Same two rooms just by coincidence. "Owner" was the most arrogant & obnoxious person ever WORST MANNERS … DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Loved the pillows, bathroom & kitchen. I was Impressed with the layout as well. Customer service was lovely with a simple smile to brighten up my day. Nga mihi,

Owner is arrogant and bad mannered when I asked for another bottle of milk, they are about 200ml on my second day he told me you only get 1 per visit even if staying multiple nights like I am
He followed me to my room calling out 2 dollar repeatly… I was going to my room to get his lousy $2
He then stepped in my room that I have already paid for, when I told him to wait outside as I have paid for this room he walked around in the unit saying he was inspecting it for damage… I am a 65 year old business man… what, I did not give him any money till was outside and I gave him $1.90 small change that I had, he tried getting $2 coins from my hand, I refused to hand them over as I need them for parking tomorrow, I will send him a cheque for the 10 cents but I want a receipt first
I sure will not be back here and advise others to think seriously
Rooms are on main road and noisey, room was basically clean and a good shower but the owner does not deserve your custom
Yes I was bloody angry, you would have been to.

A good example of budget motel — clean rooms, plenty kitchen facilities, modern bathroom, and helpful staff. Good value for money.

Horrible people to deal with. I had 5 staff members stay there and one staff member sat in one of their chairs and it broke. The motel said that my staff members had a "crazy party" and damaged the furniture and they deducted $300 from my account straigh away for the chair. My staff had drunk a few beers each and did not have a party and why should I pay $300 for a second hand chair that broke from a guy sititng in it. Clearly if you decide to stay here which I would not recommend you should not sit in any furniture or lie on the bed as if anything breaks they will deduct $300 straight away. stay away from this motel.

Lovely motel. Clean rooms, nice hosts and beautiful sunset from deck. Only 5 minutes walk to city central, which is so handy. Will definitely stay there again!

Lovely welcome from owners. Upgraded us to a bigger unit which has a perfect view of Wanganui. Very peaceful stay for 2 nights. Great rates. Highly recommend.

Very clean rooms. Friendly staff. Convienently close to downtown. One of the nicest we've stayed at on the north island so far.

Great place to stay! Beds are very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower is awesome. Highly recommended. Staff were lovely also. I'll be staying here again for sure :)

Really awesome place to stay. The standard of our cabin was fantastic. If I ever stay at another hotel I hope it has the same standards as this place. Definitely worth five star.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom house and were surprised at how large it was. Apparently it used to be the manager's house, so it's a full sized house with plenty of room in each bedroom for bags and a full sized kitchen. Decor is older, but tidy, the living area gets great sunsets, the pressure in the shower is fantastic and there's a washing machine you can use. Best value 3 bedroom place we found in Wanganui.

My sister and I, and her two kids spent 4 nights here, we had friends over, and enjoyed our stay. Good people, good accommodation, and good price. We will recommend them to all.

Owners are very friendly. Rooms are spacious, very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Will highly recommend this place to stay. Close to the city. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip.
