Really warm and cozy room. We enjoyed our stay overthere.

Very handy location. Rooms were a bit small, but very clean, warm & quiet. There's a nice TV room & lounge, didn't check out the kitchen. Plenty of on street parking.

I was very impressed with the facilities and comfort of my stay. Everything was so clean and tidy and they place was well set up and equipped. Keep up the great work, next time I'm in the Bay of Plenty I will definitely stay with you.

Nice guest house in Mt Maunganui. Very good and helpful hosts. The room sizes are okay. Very clean rooms, toilets and linens. Also it is quite and good for families. That may be one off but the shower was giving hot and sometimes passing cold water during my shower. Overall experience is very good.

This place is horrible. The owner was rude and agressive told us to leave as we had 2 friends having a few drinks with us. Do not book groups or any party's as you will be told to leave.! Terrible service! We rang and confirmed on the day to say we were there for a quiet hens party, and this was confirmed to be OK via a phone call to the receptionist. It would have been fine if we were told before we booked that they do not allowed quiet drinks. We had no accommodation that night as everything was booked out.

Very nice place to stay. Ideal for sports teams. Across the road from a big park which was ideal. Plenty of parking on the street so long as there wasn't an event on. The Wi-Fi worked very well. Good kitchen facilities. Definitely recommend it to you if you are looking for affordable accommodation in Tauranga.

Friendly staff. Very clean and well presented. Small and cosy room with bunk bed — double bed at the bottom and single at the top for the kid. Very clean common /shared shower and toilet.

Lovely guest house. Lots of space to sit quietly and enjoy. Comfortable lounging areas. Great kitchen and dining area for guests to prepare and eat food. Small rooms but very sharp pricing. Enthusiast friendly staff. Very well kept. Clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 2 nights in June 2017. Clean, spacious and peaceful accommodation. Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to the area. Loads of amenities — 3 shower rooms, very large kitchen and dining area and a warm and inviting lounge.

We only stayed one night. We were in the family room.
It was nice, but I didnt sleep all night… something was biting me all night. In the morning I was covered from top to toe with bites and I found a flea in the sheets. It could have been unfortunate, but I would recommend a very thorough steam clean the room and the carpet.
Will definatly stay again if we go to the Mount.

We only stayed for one night in the family room but we would definitely stay there again. Everything was nice and tidy and the beds were nice and comfortable. Was close to everything you could need and the staff were very helpful. I would recommend Seagulls to anyone staying at the mount.

I think it's one of the best hostels I've stayed. This place allows you to rest peacefully. It is next to a beautiful park (Blake Park) where you can do many sports freely. Supermarket is close like the beach. People who run this place are really lovely and very sympathetic. The place is very clean and well ordered. People respect your space and things you buy in commerce. I give it 5 stars because it is perfect.

Andrew was a wonderful host — extremely helpful with local information, friendly and professional. This would have to be one of the cleanest and most efficiently run guest houses we've ever stayed in. I hope the owners appreciate their manager, he's worth his weight in gold. Happily recommend and will be staying every time we come to the Mount.

Nice Location. Clean rooms and spacious facilities. Friendly and helpful staff and management. Its not a 5 star hotel, but it is a very comfortable, affordable, clean, tidy, well presented and well looked after place. No worries. Thanks Seagulls.

Clean, friendly and lot of space if you travel by car ;).

Clean and immaculate, great facilities-lounge kitchen and outside areas to relax in. It rained most of the Easter weekend and we relaxed on the great sofas in the lounge — really enjoyed our stay. Friendly and helpful proprietors — highly recommended.

What a discovery. Usually we steer clear of budget accomodation but having become tired of the price required to be paid for what is essentually a bed and bathroom we took the plunge. Seagulls offers an affordable price and is central, quiet, and spotlessly clean to boot. The management is superb — friendly and efficient.

Best hospitality and was a home away from home. If they will rent a room year round I may just tuck in next trip. 1000%.
