Great friendly customer service, hassle free stay, clean and tidy.

Don’t stay here! This is about the unfair and illegal treatment of older people. Despite my in-laws: 1. Being very clear on arriving out of the blue at this lodge that they would “stay a night or two”; and 2. Being told “that was fine”; and 3. On confirming departure in the morning after staying one night, being told that despite having been charged for 2 nights, the second night would be refunded back to them, They were still charged for 2 nights. When they queried the lack of refund, they were told that the cancellation policy was 24 hours, and the lodge refused to refund it, despite having told them to their faces that they would refund it.

Absolutely loved staying here! The staff were amazing and so friendly! The rooms were so comfortable would definitely recommend staying here! Beautiful views of the beach.

Great few days away in Whitianga staying at Admiralty. Huge room with a lovely balcony sea facing. Full kitchen and fridge. Beach towels in the room, lots of free activities available. Can't recommend highly enough.

Beautiful accommodation! Our room was very modern, clean, warm & had everything we needed. The views are wonderful & the staff are very welcoming & friendly. We'll be back again soon!

We had an amazing girls weekend at admiralty! Beautiful location and we got so spoilt! Thanks Shivawn for putting together such a great package.

The rooms are a bit dated but well presented and clean and that's the only negatives. The beds are firm and comfortable, there is a decent sized fridge you rarely find in a motel and the view, the website doesnt do it justice as a picture can't no matter how good.

Fab place to stay. Friendly staff and our studio room had everything we needed and more. Will definitely be returning. Hubby loved the electric blanket so much that we had to buy one upon our return home!

A well needed break from Auckland.
The staff are super helpful and friendly! Room, kitchen and bathroom was cleaned to a high standard. Loved that the outdoor pool was heated! And the spa bath in the bathroom was fabulous. Excellent presentation throughout (impressed with how the towels were folded). Sky TV, DVD's and books could be borrowed at no cost, and great parking available. Will definitely return, highly recommended!

This place is great, it has very nice rooms for famiy members, free Wi-Fi, great showers, very clean. The only problem I ran into were the blinds as they have a stupid design and just don't work properly and proper curtains would be better off. I am still very happy with the motel and I havn't run into any other problems. 10/10 would come here again.

What a lovely place! Nice, modern rooms that were clean. The views from the 2nd FL units can't be beat and that morning sunrise is dope! Really friendly service that made us feel right at home. I wish we could've stayed longer, would definitely stay again.

What a fab place to stay. The rooms were well equipped with everything we needed. Very clean and tidy. The location is great close to town and across the road from the beach. The view is amazing from the room. Staff were so friendly and we were well taken care of. Loved staying here we have already booked our next stay.

The pictures on the net make it look alot newer than it actually is… the bathroom was clean and fresh but found the rest underwhelming and out dated… the curtains around the bed seemed like something you would have in a hospital and half of the hooks were missing off them which looked even more tacky. The leather. Vinyl couch was all warn and near threadbare in places which also didnt look great. And some of the slats on the main curtain blind were missing… the outside light in the conservatory was also annoying and couldnt find anywhere to switch it off… all in all I was very disappointed especially for the price… the whole place looks like its needs a good spruce up. It looks tired and dated and I wont be staying there again.

The price was a bit steep we thought and the reception service probably needed someone more experienced and well presented, but the room was comfortable and very spacious. We also found that we could hear everything from the adjoining room throughout the night and early in the morning.

Poor welcome. Arrived in pouring rain. No pleasantries. Just given a jug of milk to carry up to our room via outside stairs. Door very difficult to open. Room very shabby. Blinds broken, no bulb in standard lamp, very tatty valance on bed, glass missing in bathroom, leather settee very worn with a hole where stitching was coming apart. Kitchenette very shabby and worn. Signs of rust on back of microwave and cooker hood. Toilet ridiculously high seat! Positives, it was clean and room service each day was good. Found out on departure that each unit is privately owned on a timeshare basis. Not at all what we expected. How this place is rated 5star is beyond us. Would not stay here again or recommend to others.

Best place in Coromandel. I was there only for one night and regretted not been able to stay more. Just the rooms were amazing. Imacutately clean, big and with nice views. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I forgot my kindle and they sent it to my next destination. So nice! The area is really great but even better been able to do that great walk/run in the morning from the lodge to town.

Very nicely appointed. A bit hard to find in the dark, no accommodation on Buffalo Beach Road is well illuminated (town ordinance? ).

Nice motel But in 5 days no Wi-Fi and almost no bikes available.
However beautiful peaceful place.

Very nice place. Spacious comfortable and extremely clean. Beachfront with a lovely view. Near the center. The owner was very friendly and attentive. Super recommended.

Great place to stay. We were provided nice milks for breakfast. I like the shower. Bed is a too soft for my liking.

Friendly and helpful hosts. Good sized studio room with great self catering facilities. The spa bath is a fab extra in some rooms. Along with the view and the balcony came a relaxing atmosphere.

Lovely staff and very friendly people it was a very wonderful stay there. There were many things to do and we loved everything from the rooms till the pool we will definitely come back and stay there again.

This is the most comfortable place I've been to in north. Friendly service, very cosy and warm rooms. Marvelous breakfast,. Highly recommend, will come back soon.

Very clean, comfortable, good sized rooms with ample facilities. Best of all a fantastic view, (better on the first floor) catch the sunrise every morning or just walk over the road to the beach for a lovely stroll into town.

Beautiful setting next to the beach (1 min). Rooms very well set out with excellent amenities. Staff pleasant and helpful. Will definitely come again.

My parents were coming for the weekend for my (step) dad's birthday. Karen was very lovely and helped me arrange a little surprise for them.
