Tui Lodge Hotel

We've been coming down to the Coromandel since March, every month for the weekend in preparation for k4 (cycling twice around). Dianne, her family and their beautiful dog have been absolutely amazing. Very accommodating when our plans changed or we forgot book. Clean, tidy, spacious. They provide everything, just bring a towel. Kitchen, showers always clean. Lovely place to relax even when it's wet and raining! Highly recommend. Thanks Tui Lodge!

The Tui Lodge is one of the best hostels we've ever been to. The 4 bed dorm is a little bit small but very beautiful and comfortable! The kitchen and bathrooms are clean. They don't have a dryer but you can hang up your clothes in the garden. Sheeps and cows around and the coromandel town centre is 10 min away. You can easily walk there! They have a lot of outside seating areas and the whole place is very cozy. No wonder this place is called Tui Lodge, there are lots of them in the trees! I highly recommend this place to everyone. ❤️❤️

Cabin is clean and tide, kitchen ok but small eating area. Really beautiful environment.

Nice overall. Backpackers parking a bit further down the road, Wi-Fi is paid. Cooking stove was very slow. Nice lounge.

Very good establishment in the wonderful peninsula of Coromandel. Lots of well-appointed outdoor spaces, sofas, lounges, covered dining area, beautiful kitchens. Close to the village of the same name which is very nice and offers a lot of amenities despite its small size.

Very nice and welcoming. Once the noisey cleaner had done his thing and people had finished their late (10pm) tea and chatter, we had a excellent night's sleep. A microwave which has a minute countdown would be a blessing. We would happily return.

Great place to chill and relax with friends, not to mention the brilliant friendly service. Looking forward to seeing those photos of us all relaxing around the bbq area taken last sat evening!

Very good accommodation, quiet, clean and not too far from the village.

Peaceful, green and tidy. Endless amount of bathrooms for guests and two kitchens. Most of all a helpful host with a sincere welcome!

I had a love day of rest here while cycle touring New Zealand. The owner is very kind and sweet and makes you feel right at home. All the facilities are very clean, and there are no flies in the kitchen. There is a propane grill if you'd like to do some grilling. Free laundry machine use. The Wi-Fi is unlimited, none of this 200 mb Zenbu nonsense. Only suggest I would make is to add some Wi-Fi signal boosters as the area for Wi-Fi is limited to the common area.

Disappointing. There's hardly any supervision. Rooms with clothes food and shoes by floor. Ants in showers. Very cute garden but pillows and filthy sofas pa sit down. A shame!

Beautiful spot at Coromandel town. Lovely owners with lots of helpful advice as to what to see and where to go. Site is peaceful and quiet and it'll feel like you've stumbled into a scene from the secret garden. Place offers backpackers shared rooms but also private rooms with ensuite. Rooms are clean, tidy and spacious.

A must to go and stay place full campaign site with bbq.

Wifi only worked either in the shared kitchen or the shared lounge.

In summer probably very nice, during winter it lacks some atmosphere and coziness. Staff is very friendly, Wi-Fi rather slow.

Quiet and peaceful place to stay. Lovely garden to relax in. Clean and tidy and staff really lovely. Coromandel town is a small town with a few nice cafes and places to eat. There is plenty of nice walks and beaches to go to near by and an awesome train that goes through the bush up to a lookout tower. Loved my stay here.

Awesome place, very relaxing. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They have Wi-Fi and bikes to use for free as well as free washing machines. Very well equipped and maintained.

Nice lodge with a country style feeling to it. They have private rooms, dorms, caravans and unmarked tent sites. Very clean, free unlimited Wi-Fi, well maintained. Friendly hosts that live in the house next to it.

Place wit really nice people, we stayed in tents during bit chilly night, they made sure we are cozy and warm in our tents and that was super nice, thanks:)

Nice peaceful place to stay, a little bit out of town but only a couple of minutes in the car or use their free bikes. Nice yard to relax in too.

If you want a relaxing weekend or some excellent fishing close or even just a place to stop for the night with hosts that will look after your needs then tui lodge is the place to go. A stunning part of the country that will blow your mind and drag you back time and time again. Would not stay anywhere else. Tui lodge will see me again. Awesome.
