So grateful for the phone call to say the Elton John concert had been changed. A friendly call to help us sort out our accommodation for our stay with them. Sadly I wont be able to stay this time, but this simple courtesy will ensure we do come back to stay next time we are up your way. Our friends will still enjoy your motel. Thank you. Nice, simple, somewhat spacious and clean. Parking is tight but works. Very friendly and helpful staff. Helped carry luggage and accomodate room changes to a bigger room. Which was lovely. As well as book and pay for a shuttle the next morning. Splendid!

Nice & clean comfortable bed excellent restaurant next door which can be charged back to your room only downside is container yard across road operates in the early hours recommend using earplugs.

Quite pricey for the drab little room… small TV and plenty of traffic noise from motorway.

We stayed for three nights, clean and tidy rooms, the people were so helpful and nice. Once we found our earplugs the next day, that were provided, we had great sleeps. If we go to Mt Smart again, we will be booking in. Thankyou so much, it made our weekend enjoyable.

Good room, good location. 10min to airport, very nice residential area closeby, little park on the bay. Motel managed well and kindly.

We rested well at this Motel which is so handy to the main street in Onehunga and so easy to access the motorway making it easy to get to places we wanted to visit. The upstairs room we had was very clean and quite roomy. The king size bed was very comfortable. We would recommend this place and would be very happy to stay here again.

Too much noise from the freeway and the port. Also surprisingly expensive.

Where to begin.
1. Hotel manager needs to take some lessons in customer service. A job at McDonald's might be a good place to start.
She was super rude.
2. Airport harbor view — not quite. Motorway and factories more like it.
3. Cleanliness. Placed a bottle cap near side of bed on day one by day 8 it was still there. Clearly the level of cleanliness was unacceptable — below standard.
4. Bed bugs. On day four of a 8 day stays my doona disappeared and was replaced with a "picnic blanket". Probably a good thing as my linen was NEVER changed during my stay, the sheets remained the same.
Have I said enough? Not quite however I will probably run out of room "non recommendation".

I should of taken the reviews that I had previously read into account before my stay. Lesson learnt!

I have been part of a Cast and Crew group staying here for a rehearsal period of three weeks. Throughout the stay I could not have felt more cared for by Rozita and Aaron who have trully become part of the "family" atmosphere this group has. Everything I could want in a room has been anticipated. Every request for info or assistance I have approached them about has been met with a smiling and helpful repsonse. We have shared some theatre experiences, and I have felt that they are genuinely delighted to be part of what we are doing. Thanks for the morning chats, the washing! the icepacks — but mostly for just being so naturally friendly, positive and helpful. Very special people running a fabulous motel.

Enjoyed a quality stay here at affordable price. Gorgeous rooms. As pictured on the website. Not misleading photos as some motels are! Really awesome, friendly, helpful and down to earth hosts. No problem with traffic noise. Very handy, even walking distance to Onehunga main street AND dress mart (nice). Bonus to have parking overnight while we were away. Prompt airport shuttle service with a smile. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Highly recommend.

Friendly, flexible staff at all hours — lovely clean rooms near fantastic cafes.

Fantastic rooms look like newly fitted; all the equipment you would expect. Trucks going past on main road were a little bit noisy, but not really bothersome. We actually made a second booking because we liked the place so much. If you stay, try getting breakfast at the columbus coffee shop 10 mins walk up the road — very nice.

Friendly helpful staff, wonderful rooms, very clean. Loved the special little treats. Recommended this motel to anyone who loves quality.
