Broeck Oudewater

As always we really enjoyed our stay here. All of the staff go out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food is excellent, the rooms have everything we need and we will certainly be back.

Excellent hotel, nice friendly staff. Very clean. Bikes available to hire.
Room comfy, although pillows on bed more cushion shaped not great but bed very comfy and after a long drive it was a good nights sleep.
Would definitely return.
Only concern is shortage of parking as the hotel has a popular restaurant and bar, so not great if you have luggage.

A truely authentic village experience. The hotel is newly renovated, stylish and comfortable. The team are lovely and accommodating especially with us staying over the Christmas season, where most of the village was closed. Great continental breakfast and was so cosy with all the pretty Christmas decorations and candles during our stay.

They know hospitality here. Big city service in a small one. Love their social program 👏🏻 Choice of excellent rooms.

We have visited this hotel twice this year and it will be our go-to hotel from now, every time we travel back to the UK via the Hoek of Holland or Rotterdam ferries (it's just half an hour away from the ferry terminal). Broek Hotel is just so lovely and comfortable, very clean and a final special treat before returning home. The restaurant is lovely, food excellent, and is dog-friendly (as are the rooms), and the staff just so friendly. I can't recommend the place enough! Oudewater is a beautiful little town and well worth seeing. I honestly cannot fault anything, and I am thinking of having a mini-trip just to Oudewater some time, as it is worthy of being a stand-alone destination.

Fantastic hotel. Friendly staff, delicious food excellent room which was very clean. Wonderful service staff were excellent and so caring and efficient.
Car parking was easy. We had a ground floor room which made it even easier.
There were a large crowd of us and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend!

It is such a pleasant, well equipped and relaxing place to stay. The staff as always are so helpful. Good parking and very dog friendly. A very good buffet breakfast inside or outside on their terrace. Our second visit and it will not be our last.

This was a great place to stay in a great location. Really helpful and welcoming staff. Evening meal was fantastic too. Rooms were well appointed and the bar and sitting areas were light and airy. The breakfast choice was great and, I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Oudewater is a wonderful little town and a real find.
This hotel didn’t disappoint. The room was comfortable, breakfast was excellent and good parking was onsite.
The process for checking in was quick and easy and the staff were pleasant. There are a number of excellent restaurants a short walk away and the town is extremely enjoyable to walk around.
We will certainly return.
The only downside, and it’s a minor grumble, were the young staff were quite friendly with each other and approaching them was a little awkward as it seemed you were interrupting their conversation. Only a minor thing and this seemed to disappear when older staff were on duty.

I was cycling back to UK across the Netherlands and picked Oudewater and the Broek as a convenient place to stay. It was an inspired choice. It's an incredibly pretty little town and a lovely characterful hotel with great restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the room was tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed. I had such a relaxing stay would happily go back.

Oudewater is a picturesque town in a pretty part of the Netherlands and the hotel was an excellent base to tour it. It’s easily accessible by car, with its own parking lot in back. A grocery store is a five minute walk away and the downtown area a ten minute stroll. The hotel offers decent e-bikes for rental and we really enjoyed using them to explore the area for two days — lots of bike trails and small country roads along canals.
Our room was comfortable, with a large bathroom with a good shower. We booked a family room consisting of two connecting bedrooms and were glad we did as we were able to use the second bedroom as a luggage and storage room. There is little storage in the main room, only an armoire with five hangers. No drawers or luggage racks (or floor space for luggage racks). Not a problem for a short trip but we had a big suitcase and two carryons and would have been pretty cramped without the spare bedroom. Otherwise no complaints about the room, and it was quiet at night.
The hotel has a good restaurant and a pleasant courtyard that was nice for a glass of wine at the end of the day. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming for the price — it seemed the staff was struggling to keep up with replacing items.
Overall would recommend the hotel and the area. Getting outside of Amsterdam gives a very different impression of the country.
