We spent 2 nights here. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. But the room next to us had to use a shared bathroom and it was used frequently every fifteen minutes. As a result, we were startled every time by doors opening and closing and the wooden floors creaking. This was very annoying. 2 nights of no sleep because of mice or other animals that were gnawing on the rotten wooden frames between the roof tiles or on our flat roof… Terrifying and this both nights. We had booked breakfast for all 2 days, but on day 1 breakfast was still okay, but on day 2 it was very sparse and very incompetent and unprofessional staff, and also not a very friendly reception. So certainly not worth repeating.
Wonderful place to stay. Friendly people, clean room, good food downstairs, and less than a 5 minute walk from the train station. Availability willing, I will stay here again in the future.
Only con is no air conditioning, so the open window meant that I could hear people partying down the street until 3am one night. But that was a one time thing.

Rooms not recommended for older people, steep, narrow stairs to the top. Personally, the room was too cluttered for me, too plush, too much dusty decoration, flokati in the bathroom. Unkempt balcony with artificial flowers.
Otherwise okay for 1 night.
The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious.
