Although the hotel looks a bit dated on the inside, the service is top class. They have revamped their air conditioning so worked perfectly during a very hot summer afternoon. Not too far from the main station and the city centre is 10-15 min walk away. Rooms were clean. Would stay here again if we come to Utrecht.

Low standard and extra paid car park. Location is only good thing. Very close to city centre.

The rooms were polite and friendly. The service was good. But there were no windows to open, what I didn't like. Also the promise of an own gym was ridiculous. The gym consists of a small room with an ergometer, a broken treadmill and some light pairs of dumbbells. Very disappointing. The breakfast was also average for a total amount of money, which says 4 stars, but doesn't keep the promise.

The hotel has very comfortable rooms and extremely helpful staff. You can get breakfast in the bed. The cleaning service is also very good. The amenities are good. It is very close to the Utrecht Central station.

Not bad for a overnight stay. Of course we could want for a better condition but you should be ready to pay relavant amount of money for that. Fair money — fair condition. Whats good for this hotel is the short distance (5mins walk) from central station. Also you can keep your luggage free of charge after check out.

Nice hotel. Rooms clean and quiet. Although they could do with a bit of an upgrade. Still had a pleasant stay though.

It's very well positioned with very short walks to main amenities like Utrecht Central train station or Jaarbeurs complex or shopping centre all whitin 5-7min walk… Having said that it would need some renovations of the rooms though. But overall this was my 3rd time staying and I would be looking to stay there in the future again…

INADEQUATE! I am really disappointed and shocked how such a hotel can survive today. The rooms are old, run down and dirty! In the bathroom you will sometimes find mold! Since you can not open the windows you are forced to use the outdated and noisy air conditioning. ATTENTION with the topic "sauna": Here comes already "rusty" nails out of the wood! Absolute risk of injury! I hope nobody gets hurt like me! In order to top my catastrophic "experiences" in this hotel comes additional the rude and cheeky customer service in the restaurant. Employees in the service, the rude and bitchy rebuke someone where to sit and where not! Employees who can’t say a "good morning"! Sorry, but all these experiences are an absolute no-go! Utrecht was such a beautiful city, but the hotel was more than uncomfortable and disappointing for me!

Quite dated hotel, although rooms are large everything is old and dysfunctional. Simple example no power socket near the bed, there one near the TV desk but connected to a switch that operates a desk light — close it and your phone does not charge at night — had to unscrew the light bulb to charge my phone overnight… Baths are quite unclean, cups were not washed.

We arrived on the 31st December, planning to spend the New Year's eve there. We asked the receptionist where she suggests to go or to do and all she said was "I have never spent new year's eve here" so no recommendation (is that normal in a hotel? ). Then she asked us if we wanted to include the breakfast as well. We could not believe that the breakfast was not included for the price we paid (the room was not worth the half of that price! ) The room was very small compared to other hotels I've been of the same chain. The next morning I wanted to make some tea before leaving the room. Guess what? Two of the tea sachets were opened! Now I seriously wonder how is the hygienic quality of this place controlled? I'd rather not to know. Pd: be aware that they ask of a deposit of 50€ in case you want to take something from the empty mini bar. Mind that the water is 5€! Honestly, I don't think this hotel is worth the 4 stars. 3 and too much.

Great view! Location is perfect in the middle of the city center. Delicious coffee, clean and friendly personnel.

Pay attention if you book this hôtel! For the time being all is in works outside the hôtel, Utrecht is remodelling the Station… So not easy to reach the down town, we have to walk under a long tunnel or to do a big circle to join it by others ways… On top of that, fitness center are quite poor, the carpet on the traidmail is not working correctly. At least, the room are clean and confortable, services very nice!

Very comfortable and clean rooms Service at restaurant was quick and food was delicious. The staff were friendly.

There are several affordable restaurants in the area, you can eat both a pizza and a kebab.

PP Utrecht is located centrally and is pretty accessible when you visit Utrecht by Train or Bus. The crew was also very professional and I enjoyed my visit!

A bit noisy but it is at the foot of the bus and rail station.

I spent three nights and two seminar days at this hotel. The hotel deserves a maximum of ⭐ ️ ⭐ ️ ⭐ ️ 3 stars. The rooms are too expensive. Almost all guests could only sleep poorly because the ventilation caused a lot of noise all night. Various defects in my room. The food was not very good. No free water in the room. And much more. I am very disappointed and will definitely never come back to this hotel.

A decent and clean hotel with good amount of comfort and luxury. Ideal for business travel. Location is perfect, right next to Utrecht Central Station.

The hotel is old, but the rooms are clean and cozy. Teapot, tea, coffee, cups are in the room. A free sauna is available. Breakfast buffet. Close to the platforms of the central railway station.

Staff was very friendly. The building is warn out and the prices for a room way over the top. If you need it for one night no problem. It is not a honeymoon hotel.

Very nice staff, the facilities are OK and the beds very comfortable. Large flatscreen with many programs. The walk to the train station is somewhat provisional, as there is a lot of construction at the moment.

Looks pretty old but the rooms are almost clean and the employees are very friendly, much traffic and a Mosque in front of the hotel but no problem because you can't open the window.

Hotel is in a great location, near Utrecht Centraal. Rooms are excellent, reception was friendly and easy. Went to the bar and asked for a beer. Was offered three sizes and told the medium and large was 330 and 500 ml. Asked for the large and was poured a beer well below the 0.5L mark. When I asked for it to be poured accurately, I was told it was the way they were shown to pour, two fingers from the top of the glass (like all fingers are the same width?! ). The bar person topped it up reluctantly while explaining this, and when I joked that I’m all for European standards, I was told ‘no English measures here’, because I speak English, I assume. I’m Irish (being called Wnglish is mildly insulting). England did not introduce metric units, and since when do you advertise one size measure, then don’t provide it? Bizarre beyond belief, hopefully this was a one off!

Spacious room with nice amenities. Customer service was great. The front desk staff were very helpful and courteous. The location is close to the train station and a short walk to downtown, but it is somewhat difficult to navigate to by foot until you're familiar with the area.

Hôtel with excellent features. Close to the central station and at the same time quiet. From the hotel you reach the center on foot in a few minutes. The modern structure. Good services. Convenient car parking.

Booked a room in this hotel for one night during a very short 23 hour visit to the Netherlands. We found the hotel easy to find and the hotel staff were very pleasant when they checked us in. The walk into the centre takes approximately 10-15 minutes on foot. The main train station is less than a 5 minute walk on foot. The hotel itself has been refurbished on the ground floor, however the guest rooms and corridors look as though they have been decorated since the hotel opened in 1995. In fairness, the corridors and rooms were clean and tidy, and the decoration had been kept up to. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet despite overlooking the main train station. The bathroom was pretty average, with a walk in shower, basin and toilet (we were expecting a bath). I think to call this a 4 star hotel is a bit of a stretch, but it is certainly to a good 3 star standard. There was a safe in the room which was useful. Overall, a clean, tidy and friendly hotel in a convenient location.

It's conveniently located right by Utrecht central so it can be walking distance if you don't have a lot of luggage. But there's a lot of construction all around the hotel so it's not "pretty" or a hotel you want to hang out in the bar or restaurant. The staff is very very nice and accommodating. Rooms are basic. Nothing fancy. Functional. Bathtub is extremely small and narrow. But it's so close to restaurants and town center.

Completely wrong reviews, very modern rooms, all new, very friendly. Was in the 1st floor housed, there at least there are no complaints. Big comfortable bed, modern furniture, completely new bathroom. There were also 5 German transmitter in the TV to choose from there to complain about anything.

Staff were great but hotel needs some investment. Room was really dated and noisy next to railway and was unable to move despite being part of a group booking and a conference.

From the outside it doesn't seem a good hotel, but once inside is a comfortable hotel, with friendly and well renovated/decorated. The breakfast is very complete and quality. Free Wi-Fi is weak signal.

Unfortunately the standard is really poor. The biggest issue I think is the internet connection which is far from modern standards.

The lousy internet connection is far below any modern standard. It is totally unacceptable in this category of hotels.

Room is quite alright. But crippled (reduced) Internet in the category don't even go. Surcharge is supposedly too quickly.
Only a German television (ARD) is not exactly state-of-the-art.

Looking at the cover photo of the Hotels facebook site you might think this is a great new modern Hotel, but reality is the room was very old and outdated. This place needs a desperate refurbishing and the price-value is not good.

Rooms a bit below standard for business travellers.

This hotel is near the Utrecht railway station. It is a short walk, but you must walk outside and climb stairs to reach the hotel. If you have difficulty carrying luggage or strollers, choose a hotel that is easier to access. The location by the railway tracks does not lend itself to romance. The hotel seems to cater to business travelers. There are several conference rooms on the 7th floor, with refreshment facilities. The bar on the ground floor is fancy and expensive. Nice for chatting with business associates. There is a small fitness room and sauna. The sauna is co-ed. There are no separate facilities for men and women. There were no bathrobes or towels at the sauna, contrary to what the information folder in the guest rooms said. Internet access is expensive: 22 euro for 24 consecutive hours. The guest rooms and bathrooms are clean. (I viewed several rooms, as I was traveling with my extended family. ) The front desk personnel made the avoidable mistake of mixing a rowdy tour group with quiet-seeking guests. A large bus carrying approximately 40 passengers from Germany had booked a fair number of rooms. Apparently this was either a private company or a class reunion; the people seemed to be in their late 30s. They were enjoying themselves during the Christmas holiday. Their rooms were clearly marked with colorful, party-oriented motif posters featuring pictures of balloons, party hats, and champagne bottles.
