An amazing location! The host is very welcoming and the breakfast is perfect!

Ruud (the owner) is a nice guy with a supercosy boat located on the Rhine. We had coffee on the terrace, watched soccer in bed and went for a good run along the river.

We loved our stay at Drijfpaleis. Only one night but our favorite b&b ever. Such a wonderful welcome. Beautiful and comfortable retro artsy room overlooking the river. Amazing decor and breakfast. We will definitely be back for another special experience. Thanks Ruut for the wonderful hospitality.

Well I just knew it would be 'interesting '. At first finding it seemed difficult as I knew it was on the water but couldn't see it. Very lucky to get parked but what an experience when you open the gate you are transported to another location. Great welcome from Ruud and the journey continues to your room. We were in the Venetian themed room. Fabulous host, room and the breakfast was superb. Not for anyone infirm but if you want something quirky but fun then this is it. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at this… well… palace is the only word for it, I guess.
The rooms are beautifully and extremely creatively decorated and comfortable in every way. Ruud makes you feel right at home and is very enthousiastic.
I especially liked the phrase 'do you want a cat with that? ' when breakfast is served. If the answer is yes, Frankie or Hendrik will accompany your breakfast and occupy your lap for as long as comfortable (and a bit beyond that, them being cats).
The view on the Rhine is stunning and Arnhem is a beautiful city.
We will definately make another visit to this extraordinary floating palace!

It is a wonderful experience situated walking distance to the center of Arnhem. At B&B you enjoy a wonderful view being located on the river. High quality breakfast.

Fabulous swimming B&B on the river. Dreamful interior, perfect views, very helpful and friendly Landlord. Loved the views all night long. Quality breakfast with lots of fruit.

The accommodation — a unique, simply class. Very friendly host, the breakfast is fantastic. Great location.

The drijfpaleis is a unique place in the city of Arnhem. It has a beautyfull garden and is a even more beautyfull house/boat. Ruud, the owner is a very nice guy and very helpfull. Without a daubt 5/5 stars.

This year will be our 3rd year in staying on Ruud’s delightful boat.
Why do we keep returning?
It’s because not only is it a wonderful setting, the whole experience is second to none, from the first time you step onto his boat to the time you leave every attention to detail for your stay is taken care of with perfection by the wonderful host that is Ruud.
This B&B in my opinion scores higher than a 10 and I will continue to keep returning hopefully for years to come.
Always a pleasure to stay on your boat Ruud and look forward to seeing you again in July.
