Good hotel. Everything you need.
Great breakfast and very nice staff.
We'd love to come back.

Went to have some dinner here. At first hand, the manager was already really nice and welcoming, and the first moments were really nice. We were seated, and we got a menu. It then took quite long before we could actually order the food. When we got our starter, it wasn't the same amount as stated on the menu, and what we payed for. We told it and it got removed from the receipt by the manager, which was unexpected and a very nice thing to do. +1. When my brother got his main dish, which was some simple "chicken-sate", the chicken wasn't cooked through at all, which could have made my brother very sick. We notified the manager again, he apologized and he got my brother a new plate, which again is a great solution and a very nice thing to do. Next to these things the food was really great and with 4 people we totalled around 150 euros.

Leuke ruimte en lekkere hapjes en drankjes. De faciliteiten voor muziek was ook goed geregeld. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en heel snel.

The van der valk hotel purmerend seems to be a recently refurbished location. The room was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The bed was very nice. The location itself is quiet which makes it easy to fall asleep. The only let down of my stay here was the quality of the scrambled eggs. It was more a fluffy brick of egg. There was nothing scrambled about them. The hotel is situated quite close to the highway and is next to the city center of purmerend. This makes it easy to buy whatever you need for your stay. All in all the hotel was nice and I would recommend it to anybody that needs a good base to explore the region. One word of advice to tourists. This hotel is about 25 minutes away from Amsterdam by taxi. Reserve your taxi well in advance because there are not many taxis in the region.

Seriously some of the worst food I've ever eaten at a restaurant let alone a Van Der Valk restaurant. Ordered Tom Kha Gai soup and it looked and tasted like chicken noodle soup. No coconut milk to be found. Also ordered a steak. At over €25, I expected something of decent size/quality. Instead I get a tiny steak that is tough as rubber. My girlfriend ordered a Schnitzel, and that was also inedible. I can't speak to the quality of the hotel rooms, but the place was dated. I would not recommend the restaurant whatsoever.

Service, the room and no electric water pot provided, when asked to provide hot water, the hotel questioned the use of hot water, and claimed that the card hot water will be another 13 euros charge.

The room price here is Amsterdam is relatively cheap, but the price of cheap rooms do not provide hot water, and there is no elevator direct, you have to carry luggage through the narrow staircase to the room. For hot water you have to pay 13 euros for a small bottle, about 500ml. The hotel offers free apple meals. If you add 10 euros, you can enjoy a good breakfast. Unfortunately, the restaurant waiter, especially the male, the attitude of hemp.

Had a meal here at lunchtime. Good service, decent meal for a business lunch.

We stayed for one night on the way to Belgium. In the evening we stopped and left the next morning, after breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and varied, but one minus-from the table dirty dishes are not cleaned. The room is clean, cozy, and otherwise can not say anything, as we spent there very little time. The hotel is recommended!

Fijn restaurant met lekker eten. De kerst menukaart was prima.

Very reasonably priced. Basic but clean. Friendly staff. Only 20 mins to central Amsterdam by bus.

Fantastic friendly services, clean, quality food. Free Parking at the hotel. We didn't want to drive to the center of Amsterdam which is very priced and difficult. Buses pass by 2 blocks away from the hotel.

Not exactly a honeymoon gettaway but descent.

He had a pleasant two night stay, seeing we did not use the other facilities besides the beds here, this is all I can say about it.

Het was geen succes, we moesten heel erg lang wachten tot ons hoofdgerecht er was. Tot onze verbazing kregen we maar 1 bakje patat en 1 bakje met aardappelen. En dat moesten we dan maar delen met 14 personen! We bestelde gelijk nog 2 bakje erbij. We hoopten dat we die kregen toen we nog aan het hoofdgerecht zaten. Ze kwamen een half uur tot 45 min na het hoofdgerecht. Het hoofdgerecht was trouwens ook niet veel. Ik was blij dat ik een voorgerecht had genomen. Anders ging ik met een lege maag naar huis. Het duurde ook verschrikkelijk lang tot onze desserts er waren. Terwijl het hele restaurant ondertussen al leeg was. Alles zag er wel goed verzorgd uit en netjes.

All you need in terms of food and accommodations if you are a tasteless, lower class elderly person. For all other people: avoid this place.
