Basically from the location, facilities and goodies such as sauna swimming bowling and also the rooms a good hotel, the parking situation is also relaxed due to own terrains.
Breakfast also quite good, but not top. NH Hotels are more diverse, varied and of better quality.
Unfortunately, on my last visit I had 2x in a row on the ground floor a room with very unpleasant smells from the bathroom / pipes it stank when entering.
When changing rooms as well, also the door to the outside was not lockable, actually on the ground floor a no go.

A very nice hotel, with very well maintained facilities, wellness and spa offered, in the immediate beach and downtown proximity. The staff are always very friendly and the breakfast very tasty. We will come again.

Very nice hotel! It’s close to the beach with 100m. It provides a variety of facilities. I particularly like the sauna!

The friendly atmosphere, the wellness center, the sauna, the proximity to the beach, have been coming for 25 years and I am always very satisfied!

Really a great hotel. The service staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room was soooo clean from the sleeping area to the bathroom nothing to complain about. The gastronomy and entertainment offered is varied. Very good food quality. Especially now in Corona times, everything immeasurably is done to ensure the highest level of hygiene. At every corner there are automatic disinfectant stands, the running directions throughout the building are marked and the staff pays friendly attention to the compliance with the hygiene regulations. The location of the hotel is perfect… barely 5 minutes from the beach. Have gone back to the Netherlands for the first time in over 10 years to go on holiday and was not disappointed. Will not have been the last time in this beautiful hotel. Thank you for the nice time!

A nice hotel with spacious and clean rooms and nice staff. The view was brilliant. Due to the many additional offers, be it spa area, restaurants in the hotel and bowling alley and co. You can also spend time in the hotel in bad weather. In the current time, great attention has been paid to the hygiene regulations and distance regulations, which have been implemented very well. As summers get warmer and warmer, air conditioning and small refrigerators in the rooms would be desirable. A little variety at the breakfast buffet would be nice. We have recovered very well and will be happy to come back.

I can definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the lovely Egmond aan Zee. Aside from the nice location and clean rooms, the hotel staff were amazing. I was unlucky enough to get into a little accident and ended up with a bloody nose in the lobby, and the receptionists were nothing short of amazing. Everyone made sure I was okay and were so very caring.

Very nice staff rooms and beds were good to eat was also good and the hotel is very central we come back again and again.

This is a very amazing place for family with kids as you can enjoy indoor games such as bowling and the play area is something worth going for if u have little kiddos. I would love to come back!

You can also deal with bad weather is wonderful in this Hotel. It is very large and yet it is not uneasy. There is Bowling, table football, pinball, Squash court, children's play and Toberaum etc is. Offered. Partially against payment, the the the framework. The room was very clean and cozy. Staff very friendly. It is great that the environment is meant to be and is offered, that not every day the towels are changed. If one agrees to this, you get a free brand per Person for a coffee/Cappuccino. Wellness area small, but we had him, never crowded. Massage fantastic. Great beach within walking distance in 5 min. To reach. To recommend all in all a very.

The view is very nice, the food is amazing, the variety was superb, staff very friendly, facilities very entertaining, a very good hotel to stay at near the sea! feedback; think about putting a mini fridge in the room, a waterboiler and a coffeemachine. Other 4stars hotels have those… that was what we missed.

I recommend bowling, beer, saunas and dinner in the restaurant.
After the renovation saunas are beautiful and cozy.
Sometimes there’s no enough deck — chairs/ if there’s too much people.
Price is OK. Snacks in the bar tasty.

Nice hotel which is located 5 minutes walking from the beach. The staff is really friendly and helpful, the rooms are equipped with tv, bathroom amenities and having an own balcony, but no air condition unfortunately. The rooms facing the seaside might be a bit colder than on the other side of the hotel. The hotel has a several sport options, such as squash or bowling, also a bar for those who would like to have a drink. The hotel also operates as a conference centre, where even 450 people can be entertained. Just make sure that you take something warm, as it can be chilly in the meeting rooms :)

Beautiful hotel. Close to the beach and lovely town. The rooms are very nice and spacious. There's a lot to do in the hotel. Swimming pool is nice. The breakfast is amazing!

Really big hotel, close to the beach. Many amenities. Expensive, if one considers the level of "close to non existent" air conditioning.

The hotel was in full renovation work… very comfortable, the place offers services of restorations and varied atmospheres, continuous activities. Cabaret halls, bowling alleys, indoor swimming pool, activities for children… a city in the city! 10 steps from the beach.

The Hotel Zuiderduin is a fairly large hotel (approx. 360 rooms) located directly in the dunes of Egmond aan Zee.
Its size does not necessarily make it look nice from the outside. However, this circumstance is compensated by other plus points.
The rooms are decorated in a modern and structured way. In some rooms the bathroom was quite small. There are different types of rooms, such as rooms with a well-equipped and modern kitchenette, if you want to take care of yourself. The rooms we had were neat and clean.
A big Vortel of the hotel is its location almost directly on the sea. Approx. 150m to the beach. The same distance in a different direction and you are in the pretty pedestrian area with shopping and cafes/restaurants.
In the hotel itself there are some leisure facilities for adults and children. Swimming pool/sauna/wellness, bars, restaurant, squash hall, bowling alleys, billiard tables as well as a Fahradverleih.
The hotel also offers conference rooms for small and fairly large groups.
Wireless Internet access is available free of charge. There are also parking spaces in an underground garage and a parking lot if there are places. We had no problem with 2 visits so far to find a place.
The staff are friendly and also special requests are processed quickly.
I recommend the hotel and we will be happy to return.

The service was great and very diligent. It was quiet at night. The hotel was easily accessible. The room was tidy when I entered. Really good service.

Were at the diner buffet here. Class! The hotel is huge and offers a lot. It is currently being renovated in some places. We live in the sister hotel Golfzang. We like it better. Also has a better location on the beach.

I stayed at Hotel Zuiderduin a few times now for corporate learning events. It's got great facilities like a bowling alley, a pub, squash court, games room, spa. The rooms are big and comfortable. I had one with a sea view which was nice as I could admire the lighthouse at night. The sea is a few minutes walk away, the sand is super clean and there are a few restaurants to chill in. It's a nice hotel to disconnect from the world. I would recommend 3 days stay at least.

Big Friendly Hotel. A good Breakfast to start the day. Children Welcome. Swimming Pool and Sauna Area nice to have, however very busy. Good Location and ok for a short stay.

Great hotel. Design in retro style 60s years. Spa, with pool and saunas, billiards, bowling, cafes, bars, restaurants. Everything is very nice, trendy, clean. The food is varied and very tasty (buffet style). 5 minutes to the sea, through the central streets of Jegmonda. Would recommend this hotel without a doubt. Parking and breakfast included in the price.

Come here for the fourth time now, and again and again gladly. Friendly staff, breakfast and dinner can be very good, and otherwise you can do a lot of things in the hotel. Also, you can quickly get to the beach and the city where to shop well.

Yes. A bed-castle. Nevertheless, I have been driving here for years at the beginning of the year to relax. The proximity to the sea, the spa area, the friendly people and the great dune landscape are simply great. Certainly not everyone's business, but I love it!

Please note; I stayed during one of the busiest periods. Room was not cleaned upon arrival, despite arriving after the allowed time. View was great, rest of the room fairly average with some rather annoying touches (personal wishes) on lights and placement of switches.

Everything is really fine! The rooms are clean, the restaurant generously laid out. The central location is an advantage. Car stays in the underground garage and off to the wheels, roller skates, surfboards and action…
We always like to come here again.

A very nice, modern, quiet (winter season) hotel in Egmond aan Zee.
Rooms and furnishings: bright and fŕeundliche rooms. The furniture is new and not worn. The beds are comfortable and the mattresses are rūckenfreundliķch.
In the Closet J her a sage for your valuables.
The bathroom is very well maintained and spacious. Offers both a bath and a shower facility.
Furthermore, there are conference rooms, a cosy pub (until 9pm, a small snack is still possible), bowling alley and much more…
The Hotel kitchen offers a very good breakfast with a rich selection of products.
The staff is nice and accommodating.
Long story short… Zuiderduin is a hotel where you can feel at ease. Conclusion: I would like to come back here.

We travel from Manchester, England, every year for the past 4 years to the Finder Masters darts tournament, one of our favourite events of the year. We are currently stuck here in Holland due to bad weather, and we cannot fly home until Wednesday. All the staff have been so helpful, especially Kelsey and Richard, who helped us with rooms for an extra 2 nights, and even helped us to look for new flights home. Thank you to everyone at this hotel, you always make our visit so special and care for us like we are your family.

No frills rooms with friendly service, pool billiard, swimming pool and sauna are available. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. A good choice also for families with children.

The hotel is very large and offers many options. There are restaurants, bars, bowling, swimming pool, sauna, children's play paradise etc. It's all very pretty and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. To the sea or to the centre of Egmond aan Zee It is only five minutes on foot. You can park your car in the underground garage or on the parking terrace if you still find a place. That was actually our only point of criticism. Otherwise we liked it very much.

It's a nice quiet place. Everything is worthy. It is advisable to know English as the hotel staff do not know Russian.

Overall my stay at Hotel Zuiderduin was pleasant; not fantastic, nor terrible. The service was really good. Staff were very professional, courteous and hospitable. The room I was put in was very clean. It was also cleaned daily to an exceptional standard. However, the rooms are very dated and in need of some renovation. It lacked a bar fridge, iron and other amenities like a kettle. The food at the buffet was sub-par. There's not much variety and the food is quite bland. Hot breakfast was poor with only eggs, bacon and sausages; the eggs were tasteless, and the bacon dry and fatty. The hotel has great facilities for leisure; it has a swimming pool, sauna, bar, bowling alley and gym (which only has a few equipment but standard for hotels). It also has great conference facilities.

Hotel was very well equipped for large professional functions, the food is good but not excellent.

Me and my husband come here for visit family on summer. We stay 13 days. Nice big hotel. Room service every day. Near to the beach. And every shop nearby. And cozy lobby. Our room without air conditioning. Some time feel hot at night.

Very good hotel, nice staff, Breakfast buffet sufficient. In case of bad weather, the Hotel offers a swimming pool, a sauna, a wellnees area, children's play facilities and we parents can sit in the bars.

Was with my dog there. We were welcome, it was clean and the Hotel has many offers. The beach is very quickly reached and maintained. We will definitely come back!

Great place to stay! Within walking distance of everything including the beach and several great restaurants! Awesome bowling ally! Free Wi-Fi for guests, clean rooms with awesome beds and bathrooms! Amazing sauna /pools! 3 different saunas at different temperatures, including an infrared sauna! Very impressed with this hotel!

Personally, I think that a hotel that receives the symposium of the "European Flat Earth Society", bigots who work for hindsight in intelligence and science, does not deserve to be put on foot.

Here we spent new year's Eve occasions. Really good, but unfortunately also quite expensive.

We were several times here. Never before booked and get always a room. As a guest, which is parking free. We felt we probably always.

A super hotel, great stay and above all clean. In particular it keeps what it promises everything looks touted as Internet and the staff is very friendly and Nice. In addition, stylish room service every day since and has the complete room cleaned and made new beds. Swimming pool, bowling alley/disco, squash court, pub, lounge, bar at a hotel in this category really versatile. A class hotel highly recommended, we would immediately go back.

All super, I'm going again, the short walk to the beach is awesome, very short routes in the city, free parking.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and could not avoid unfortunately (due to lack of forces) long waits between courses.

Very nice and quiet remote campsite near the town of Westkapelle. In just a few minutes, one is on the sea. The sanitary facilities were very clean. We spent a wonderful week there with dog. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

We spent our honeymoon at the hotel Zuiderduin — it remained unconsidered by the hotel but unfortunately in every respect (in other hotels, BB´s gives sparkling wine or flowers in the room). Otherwise, the hotel has become our demands. The meals, swimming pool and sauna were great. The staff was very friendly. The location is unbeatable — just a stone's throw from the beach as well as to the place of Egmont aan Zee.

Fur us just right. Directly on the beach to make beautiful beach walks. Later in the afternoon in cold weather the swimming pool and the sauna visit. Children are always well pleased because they can let off steam in the play paradise. We have been there probably 8-10 times and will come again.
