Very nice hotel near the town centre.
Nice reception, superservice, wide selection of e-bikes, breakfast very good
(unfortunately without buffet). Overall impression for my treasure and me highly recommended.

Totally downcast hotel. Price-/performance absolutely unacceptable. Never 4 stars, rather 2 star level. Fugues defect, shower under slancy in tub, where you can not even stand, breakfast as in youth hostel etc. No wonder this was the only hotel in Bergen that still had rooms free!

It is not a four-star Hotel, the rooms are very small and worn, the beds were worn out. The Breakfast buffet is very clear. The first three days were out on the tables of the terrace withered flowers. It looked very bleak. We are actually not used by the Fletcher Hotels. Very positive is the friendliness of the staff was.

Kind of small. Twin beds pushed together and sold as a double bed is not a plus for me.

I found everything in order. Only it is very noisy. My dog was not so good …

Has come a little in the years, but is sufficient for a short stay. More rustic than modern. Very good service, good breakfast, very central with nice surroundings.

Nice staff, but as mentioned before, rather clumsy rooms years old, with only the tiniest of windows. And how can I feel a guest when my car is charged 7, 50 extra per night for parking on the premises. Food/ beverages no bargains. Breakfast acceptable, other fletcher hotels do better here. Good coffee, though.

A beautiful place, a fireplace, a library — the truth is not Russian, 3 halls for meals, a terrace.

Nice hotel on a beautiful location near the dunes. Although the interior is quite outdated, and the rooms are noisy, the overall stay was comfortable.

The location was great, near public transport and restaurants. The rooms were old and small.

The hotel was really close to the shopping center, that was good, but the room was smaller than they show in the website and looks different. The restaurant doesn't have variety in dishes for dinner (I don't know if they have something different in lunch time), they offer an unique menu, totally strange for me compares with another hotels I stayed before… My principal complaint is that I make a requirement to celebrate my husband's 50's and was totally ignored, they simply didn't read it, that was really disappointed for me…

Nice hotel in the nice town Bergen.

The hotel is very comfortable.

The hotel is awful, dated, dirty, noisy. The rooms are small and the single beds are child size, no tea making facility and a paper cup to use in the bathroom. Very over priced and diffentently not 4 Star. The best part is the seating area outside the hotel. I would not go there again.

Bike rental 10€ per day, Expensive, but good Restaurant, nice staff, good location.

Cheap Hotel with expensive Restaurant operation there, something special, rooms badly in need of renovation, very soft mattress, extremely small rooms with small bathrooms, cleanliness could be better, but overall OK.

From the outside very nice, the rooms are unfortunately quite small. I give 3.5 stars. Friendly staff, speaks more or less English.

In the summer time Bergen is usually sold-out, as a result I took the only room available, a budget double.
I did not expect luxury nor a big room and I must say that my expectations were correct.
That said however, it is unacceptable the lack of cleanliness, especially of the beds and pillowcases, all in all in order the bathroom.
Average Staff, decent breakfast.
He would have probably deserved more, but the lack of cleanliness is deadly sin.

Soft beds, Good breakfast and dinner menus close to the center of town pay parking.

The room was a little tight but the price-performance ratio was ok, the Breakfast buffet offers plenty of choice, Parking can be expensive in the area.

Look out for an hostel rather this false 4* hotel where you sleep very badly, it's dirty and the food is horrible.

We enter the building and walked up to have on the first floor, hallway and room a musty smell common old houses. When you open the door to our room, we were by the smell of urine, is located, who ask me whether she cleaned the toilet with the correct cleaning agents. The bed was while a bit on the soft side, the pillows too soft for comfort, was me neck pain. Overall, the room was clean and the staff were friendly.

Hotel Marijke beautifully located in the village of Bergen. From the outside, everything looks also still very well maintained. The entrance and the breakfast room and the restaurant and the bar make a pleasant impression. Unfortunately, it is only when this impression. I stayed in a room that looked rather like a broom closet there. The room not even was hostel standard. Filthy, pampering and little inviting the shower and toilet. A broom closet for 90 euro for a night and to do so more than liked breakfasts. In the evening I ate a salad there — it tastes better from MC donalds. Love German tourists don't go there — pure rip off. To my closet, I had to pay yet 7 50 euro for the parking lot. You should consider exactly anyway each holiday in NL. I've lived there for seven years and we are more than unpopular. You should spend that money really somewhere else.

Bad bad bad. Good service though. Don't deserve 4 stars. Slept in better and cleaner 2 star hotels. Beds are horrible. Inventory needs modernization.

Just that the radiator does not heat up enough, we still have it in December and I am again with my coat in the room so that the radiator does not heat up.
If not nothing to say very good hotel and not very expensive.

Best Western * Marijke in Bergen aan Zee/Bergen is fabulous. Stayed in room 1, across the street from the main building only for one night as part of a bus trip and everything was just perfect. Huge room with chandeliers, lights over the bed, it was about six feet wide, large bathroom with power shower with large shower head, loads of hot water. Beautiful public areas, hotel, interesting works of art, etc. Dinner was excellent as breakfast buffet in the morning. A pretty town, probably with not much to offer holiday but we were only there for one night a long stay and I couldn't fault the hotel on every aspect. Would stay there again, like, if we go the Netherlands tours.
